CM.520 Sport Line, GEN-2 [CYMA]

CM.520 GEN-2 by CYMA is a modern interpretation of the AK platform from the 500 series, designed with a focus on improved mobility and user comfort. Based on the TM standard, the construction has been developed toward better ergonomics and ease of use, while the Sport Line version further enhances balance and intuitive handling. With the implementation of GEN-2 and the MOSFET CYMA V3 system, the replica delivers smooth operation and solid trigger response, creating a lightweight and practical platform for everyday gameplay for airsoft players.

Sport Line Series

The Sport Line series is a CYMA product line designed to improve functionality and user comfort. The applied design solutions result in better balance, easier handling, and a more practical approach to everyday use. For airsoft players, this means a replica that is simply more comfortable to operate — both during dynamic gameplay and extended sessions.

External build - modern ergonomics of the AK platform

The replica is constructed from a combination of durable polymer and metal components made of durable aluminum alloy, allowing for reduced weight while maintaining the solid character of the AK platform. The lighter construction directly translates into improved comfort and reduced fatigue during extended gameplay.

As a result, the replica performs better in dynamic situations — making it easier to shoulder quickly, move efficiently, and maintain readiness over longer periods.

The stock provides stable shouldering and consistent handling, while the profiled pistol grip improves ergonomics and ensures a secure hold.

The model features an individual serial number, making identification easier. Solid fitment and the absence of noticeable play result in predictable performance during use.

500 Series - mobility and user comfort

The CYMA 500 series is designed with a strong focus on lightweight construction and ease of use. By incorporating a higher proportion of durable polymer components, replicas in this line offer reduced weight while maintaining overall structural integrity.

In practice, this translates into greater freedom of movement, easier maneuverability in the field, and improved comfort during extended gameplay — especially for airsoft players who prefer a more mobile playstyle.

Internal build - proven base and flexibility

Internally, the replica is based on TM-standard solutions, ensuring wide compatibility with aftermarket parts as well as ease of servicing and upgrades. The gearbox v3 relies on proven components such as 8 mm bushings and a sealed nozzle (19.70 mm), ensuring stable and consistent operation.

The QSC quick spring change system allows the replica to be easily adapted to different gameplay scenarios. For airsoft players, this means greater flexibility and the ability to use one platform in various conditions.

The MOSFET CYMA V3 improves trigger response and overall operation smoothness, resulting in a more responsive and consistent shooting experience.

Performance and usability

The replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system and a 455 mm inner barrel, supporting accuracy and shot consistency. For airsoft players, this means better control of BB trajectory and improved effectiveness at medium ranges.

Intuitive controls make the replica easy to operate, allowing it to perform well for both beginners and more experienced users.

Power and compatibility

The replica uses a T-connect connector and is compatible with 11.1V LiPo and 7.4V LiPo batteries. This allows users to tailor performance to their preferences — from higher responsiveness to more stable operation.

The battery is housed under the dust cover, allowing quick access and easy replacement during gameplay.
