CM.040C, GEN-2 [CYMA]

CM.040C GEN 2 by CYMA is an AK-74M style carbine replica designed for improved mobility while maintaining the solid construction of the 040 series. The model combines the realistic character of the AK platform with a more compact configuration suited for dynamic gameplay. The GEN2 version and CYMA V3 MOSFET support smoother operation, snappy trigger response, and stable performance during intensive use.

External build

The replica is constructed from a combination of metal components and durable polymer, providing solid durability while maintaining a practical weight. The 040 series platform offers tight fitment and high structural rigidity.

The C version features a more compact layout with a side-folding stock, improving mobility and handling. This configuration works well in confined spaces and dynamic scenarios.

The design supports fast handling, making it easier to shoulder, move, and stay ready during gameplay.

The model features an individual serial number. Solid fitment and lack of noticeable wobble support predictable handling.

Internal design and mechanics

The replica is based on a v3 gearbox. Internally, it uses 8 mm ball bearings and a piston with a full metal rack, supporting durability and stable operation.

The type 0 cylinder matches the barrel length and supports efficient pneumatic performance. A short hi-torque motor with neodymium magnets ensures snappy trigger response and smooth cycling.

The quick spring change (QSC) system allows quick adjustment for different setups without disassembling the gearbox.

The CYMA V3 MOSFET improves electrical efficiency and supports more responsive operation.

Performance and accuracy

The replica is equipped with a 500 mm inner barrel with a 6.05 mm diameter, supporting accuracy and shot consistency.

Hop-up adjustment is handled by a slider-adjustable hop-up chamber, typical for the AK platform, allowing precise BB trajectory tuning.

Power supply

The replica uses a T-connect plug and is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V LiPo batteries. The battery is stored under the top cover.
