CM.007 Full Metal, GEN-2 [CYMA]

The CM.007 GEN-2 airsoft rifle by CYMA is an electric airsoft gun based on the AR15 platform, designed for medium-range games and configurations using accessories mounted on RIS rails. The construction uses CYMA GEN-2, CYMA MOSFET, and a quick spring change system through the spring guide, supporting smooth operation and easier adjustment of the replica to different airsoft scenarios.

Construction and design

The CM.007 GEN-2 is made of metal and plastic. The pistol grip and SF-type stock are made of polymer, while the external metal construction supports the rigidity of the replica during regular use.

The rifle is 805 mm long with the stock folded and 890 mm long with the stock extended. The weight of the replica without a magazine is ~2788 g, which helps maintain stable handling when aiming and working with additional equipment.

The replica is equipped with a handguard with RIS rails, allowing the installation of compatible accessories such as front grips or flashlights. A carry handle with rear sights is mounted on the upper RIS rail of the receiver.

Ergonomics and handling

The CM.007 GEN-2 uses a control layout classic for AR15 replicas, including a one-sided magazine release and a one-sided fire selector. This configuration maintains the standard ergonomics of the AR15 platform and allows intuitive operation during the game.

The SF-type stock offers six-position length adjustment and a rubber buttpad, making it easier to adapt the replica to the user's preferences and rifle handling style.

The rear plate has ambidextrous sling attachment points, while the front sling attachment point is located on the lower part of the classic front sight base. This setup allows convenient sling attachment and more stable carrying during movement.

The functional bolt catch makes it easier to access the hop-up adjustment after pulling back the mock bolt carrier. This solution supports faster adjustment of the BB flight path when preparing the replica for the game.

Internal parts and mechanics

The CM.007 GEN-2 uses a V2 gearbox with a quick spring change system through the spring guide. Inside, it features 8 mm steel ball bearings, 18:1 gears, a steel bearing spring guide, and a piston with a full steel rack and aluminum piston head.

The pneumatic system includes an aluminum cylinder head, a full type 0 cylinder, and a 21.0 mm Teflon nozzle. The drive is handled by a long-type High Torque motor, supporting efficient operation of the mechanism in the configuration intended for this replica.

The replica has a 380 mm long, 6.03 mm diameter brass inner barrel. The metal rotary hop-up chamber allows precise BB spin adjustment, helping adapt the flight path to the BB weight and game conditions.

The rifle reaches ~19 RPS, while the factory FPS is ~390 FPS.

Electronic system

The replica is equipped with a CYMA MOSFET and a T-connect plug. The electronic system supports trigger response and smooth operation of the replica, while the connector is responsible for linking the power system.

The battery compartment is located in the SF-type stock and buffer tube.
