CM.048, GEN-2 [CYMA]

The CM.048 GEN 2 by CYMA is a replica faithfully based on the AK-74 rifle, designed for versatile use in woodland and mixed-field airsoft games. This model combines the rugged character of a steel construction with the natural appearance of wooden furniture. The GEN2 version and CYMA V3 MOSFET system support smooth operation of the replica's internal mechanisms. The electronic system enhances trigger response, allowing for a shorter delay between trigger pull and shot release.

Construction and design

The replica is made from a combination of metal components and wood, providing a solid structure and faithful reproduction of the classic AK-74 platform. The metal external parts support rigidity and stable fitment of all components.

The rifle configuration supports stable handling and comfortable use during medium- and long-range engagements.

The model features a 14 mm CCW external thread along with an additional 24 mm CCW thread, allowing installation of compatible muzzle devices.

Internal parts and mechanics

The replica is built around a V3 gearbox equipped with 8 mm ball bearings. Inside, it features a piston with a metal tooth rack and a bearing spring guide, supporting durability of the drivetrain under load.

Trigger response is handled by a short hi-torque motor with neodymium magnets. The pneumatic system is based on a type 0 cylinder and a polymer piston head.

The quick spring change system allows power configuration adjustments without fully disassembling the gearbox.

The replica is equipped with the CYMA V3 MOSFET system, supporting electrical performance, fast trigger response, and improved operating smoothness of the mechanism.

Performance and precision

The model uses a brass inner barrel with a length of 500 mm and a diameter of 6.04 mm, supporting shot-to-shot consistency and a stable BB flight path.

The metal AK-standard hop-up chamber allows BB spin adjustment and adaptation to different BB weights.

Factory muzzle velocity is approximately ~390 FPS. The replica achieves a rate of fire of around ~20 RPS.

Power supply

The replica uses a T-connect plug and is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V LiPo batteries. The battery is housed inside the stock.
