Frenzy-X 1x19x28 SCRD-64 red dot sight by Vector Optics is a compact open reflex sight designed for dynamic shooting and fast target acquisition. Its 7075 T6 aluminum construction, motion sensor, and battery life of up to 50,000 hours ensure stable performance, rapid target acquisition, and high resistance to intensive use.

Construction and build quality

The Frenzy-X model is made from 7075 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, providing low weight combined with high mechanical strength. Its compact dimensions of 46×30×36 mm make it suitable for both lightweight CQB setups and larger platforms equipped with additional accessories.

The sight uses a curved lens with multi-layer protective coatings. These coatings improve image clarity and reduce distortion during rapid target acquisition. The 19×28 mm window offers a wide field of view, allowing efficient target tracking.

The design meets the IPX7 standard, making it suitable for use in rain and harsh outdoor conditions.

Functionality and use

The sight features a 3 MOA red dot, offering a good balance between fast target acquisition and shooting precision. Brightness adjustment includes 9 daylight levels and 2 night-vision modes, allowing adaptation to different lighting conditions.

A built-in motion sensor automatically turns the device off during inactivity, helping to conserve battery life during transport or breaks in use. Side-loading CR2032 battery access allows quick replacement without removing the sight, preserving zero after battery changes.

Mounting and adjustment

The Frenzy-X uses a Weaver mount compatible with the MOJ standard. Its low-profile design maintains a natural sight line and supports comfortable handling during dynamic movement.

The adjustment range is ±45 MOA, enabling precise zeroing and adaptation to different replicas and user preferences.
