CGS OPS MK12 dummy silencer - MWS CGS is a realistic external accessory inspired by OPS Inc suppressors used on MK12 SPR rifles. The model is designed for GBB replicas and AR-platform DMR configurations, where maintaining correct proportions and visual authenticity is important.

Construction and design

The 215 mm long body with a 38 mm diameter replicates the characteristic extended profile of OPS-style suppressors used on MK12 Mod 0 / Mod 1 setups.

These types of configurations were widely used in DMR / SPR platforms and by special operations units (including Navy SEALs and US Army SF) in missions requiring precision fire at medium distances, especially during the 1990s and 2000s.

The knurled section improves grip during installation and gives the unit a clean, technical appearance.

Build quality

The housing is made of aluminum, reducing weight while maintaining structural rigidity.

The lightweight construction serves a dummy function, without affecting replica performance, while preserving a realistic look.

Internal structure and functionality

Inside, there are 5 foam inserts with an outer diameter of 32 mm and inner diameter of 15 mm.

The insert layout may help reduce sound in airsoft replicas and can cover a slightly extended inner barrel in tuned configurations.

The internal space may also allow installation of a tracer unit, depending on its dimensions.

Mounting

The model is designed to mount on a MK12 / OPS-style muzzle device and does not use a standard 14 mm CCW thread.

This solution reflects MK12-style setups and requires a compatible muzzle device.
