J’ai acheté cette BY-023 il y a 3 ans, à mes débuts en airsoft, pour participer à une mil-sim en France nécessitant une AK. Avec un budget limité, je cherchais une réplique réaliste, performante et robuste à prix abordable. Après plusieurs recherches sur différents sites, j’ai opté pour ce modèle.
Cette réplique à un très bon rapport performance/prix et qualité/prix.
Pour commencer, en externe, elle est très réaliste grâce à sa crosse et son garde-main en bois, ainsi qu’à sa construction en acier, ce qui lui donne un poids d’environ 3 kg, proche du réel et supérieur aux répliques en plastique. La poignée est en plastique (présence du moteur oblige), mais cela reste logique et peu gênant. Elle est ergonomique et dispose d’attaches pour sangle permettant une installation facile de sangle deux points.
Côté performances, elle est parfaite pour l’extérieur et la longue portée. Son canon interne de 455 mm, sa puissance de 1,8 J (environ 440 fps) et l’utilisation de billes en 0,25 g offrent une excellente portée ainsi qu’un bon groupement, supérieur à presque tous les fusils d’assaut. En revanche, elle est moins adaptée à l’intérieur en raison de sa puissance et de sa longueur (Je conseille de sélectionner entre 300–350 fps pour le CQB). Le chargeur hi-cap de 500 billes est également un avantage non négligeable.
Le hop-up est efficace et facile à régler, même en cours de partie. Le moteur supporte bien les batteries 11,1 V pour une bonne cadence, mais pour préserver la mécanique sur le long terme, une 7,4 V est préférable, surtout en automatique. L’accès à la batterie est simple et plus pratique que sur d’autres répliques (où cela se trouve régulièrement dans la crosse). Il faut néanmoins faire attention à la taille de la batterie (Prenez celles proposées). La visée mécanique est efficace, mais l’ajout d’une optique nécessite un adaptateur rail picatinny.
Depuis les trois ans que je les je n’ai rencontré aucun problème, malgré un interne qui n’est pas des plus récents, elle fonctionne toujours bien et cela permet de la garder très accessible à n’importe quel joueur débutant et même plus confirmé. Les seuls petits problèmes que j’ai pu rencontrer c’est parfois un enraillement après une rafale trop longue mais assez facilement résolvable avec la tige de débourrage.
Pour conclure sur cette réplique, j’en suis toujours aussi satisfait. Si j’avais un petit commentaire à faire aux constructeurs pour l’améliorer, ce serait tout d’abord de fournir l’adaptateur pour les rails picattiny (bien sûr en augmentant le prix) car c’est vraiment nécessaire. Il serait aussi intéressant qu’ils fournissent deux ressorts pour adapter la puissance en fonction des besoins. Sans modification de l’interne, elle fonctionne encore très bien, elle est parfaitement jouable en sortie de boîte. De plus son prix pour la qualité des matériaux utilisé est très faible. C’est pourquoi je la conseille vivement à tous ceux qui affectionnent les AK et qui souhaitent débuter avec du bon matériel.

Très belle replique métal bois bonne performances, environ 1,7joule, ça tire plutôt droit et le full auto et très satisfaisant,manque juste le blowback et elle serait parfaite!!! Mais très bon rapport qualité prix

Très jolie replique, très réaliste même sans marquages . Simple de fonctionnement et d'entretien.
Lors de la première utilisation elle a répondu a toutes est attentes , cadence et précision. Le bois et de très bonne facture et les pièces métallique sont solides.
Le réglage du hop-up est très facile d'accès.

Recommended battery for cyma113.a fits properly, works just fine. Never had issues with batteries from taiwangun.
This is no different. Fits in my Batsafe storage no problem.
Had enough juice for the entire day.

Ce chargeur fait le minimum mais le fait bien. La diode de gauche est verte quand le chargeur est branché sur le secteur, celle de droite est rouge quand la batterie est en charge et devient verte quand c'est terminé. Rien de plus, pas d'écran, pas d'indication du pourcentage de charge de la batterie mais vu le prix il ne faut pas s'attendre à plus. À voir dans le temps.

Très bon produit de très bonne qualité pour le prix je suis très satisfait de cette achat que je recommande fortement, possibilité de recharger plusieurs types de batterie LiPO/Li-ion . La qualité du produit par rapport aux prix sans parler de la livraison rapide et le produit très bien emballé , je recommande fortement.

Pas de problème pour le moment, conventionnel, semble charger assez rapidement les batteries. Testé sur du 8,4v et 11,1v. n’oubliez pas d’acheter une petite pochette de protection pour batterie. Le câble secteur est fourni avec

heureusement taiwangun a reagi tres vite et apres l'avoir renvoyé j'ai reçu un 2 eme qui etait aussi cassé aux niveau de la hausse qui etait en miette !
du coups j'ai renoncer a prendre une 3eme

i mostly use the replicas i buy here for cosplay and movie purpose, it was the case for this one, however i still used it for a full day of airsoft and i was very happy with the result given the price, it's biggest quality from a practical standpoint is that despite having a fixed stock, the battery emplacement is in the top cover and is meant for stick bettery wich is way better in my opinion, as for the external the wood of the stock and handguard feels realy good! if you want a cheap AK to start in airsoft or as a movie prop, i highly recomend it!

Chargeur compact qui me permet de recharger ma 7.4 en Deans, les leds sont super utiles, et la charge est rapide. Malgré la grande capacité de ma batterie (2200mah), il a fallu 1-2h pour la recharger entièrement, je recommande chaudement.

C’est une très bonne réplique, très robuste et fiable, on peut effectuer pas mal de modifications pour la personnaliser.
En bref le rapport qualité prix est excellent.

What you get in the box is :

A Sling (It is cheap but holds the gun, a really good addition !)
An unjamming rod.


Externals :

There is barely any play, the stock and handguard are sturdy and stay in place. The rifle weighs about 3 kilograms empty, which is pretty realistic. The only place where there is play is the front sight block, and the selector cap.

The rifle has almost the same dimensions as a real one, the body is slightly longer like any airsoft AK.
The replica has LCT externals, so you can adapt LCT Zenitco accessories (except stocks, which are unique to this gun.) I adapted a LCT Z-Series B10M lower handguard, which fit perfectly.

It probably could survive a fall, although I wouldn't recommend it. The externals are a 9/10.

Internals.

The gun disassembles like any other LCT AK, and has the battery compartment located under the dust cover. It has a mini Tamiya connector. It is easy to disassemble the gun to change the battery, but also to change the gearbox spring, as this gun has a QD gearbox (for 130€!).
Alas, there are failing points in the gearbox :

The hop up unit is made out of clear plastic, and is probably the first thing that will break on the gun. The inner barrel is not very accurate, but that both can be easily changed. The gearbox needs reshimming, and a piston/trigger upgrade would be welcome. The interior feels a bit cheap, but the gun remains really good, and hops .25s @ 300 FPS (With the taiwangun spring mod) to 30-40 meters.
It has sufficient reactivity, even though it could be a lot better. We have to remember this is a 130€ airsoft gun.
The one bad thing with Internals is magasine compatibility. By default, the gun can only accept its original magazine. With Cyma magazines the gun will not feed properly. You have to file down the locking latch on the magazines, but it is pretty precise : Not enough, and the bbs won't get in the hop up chamber and you will get 100~FPS, too much, and your magazine will wobble a lot. Be careful. I tested this with Cyma and D-Day Pmags.

All in all, for this price range, the Double Bell AKM is probably the best replica you can get. It's a bit long for CQB, even though you can make it work (I tested the gun in office buildings and in a forest) but I think it is a perfect starter gun, for airsofters that can carry it all day.

Good bbs , and nice bag . You don’t have to transfer the bbs into a bottle so this is very handy . I would recommend this product so don’t hesitate to get them you won’t be disappointed . The only downside is the bbs aren’t bio .

Le manuel d'utilisation est clair, ce produit fonctionne parfaitement bien et est tout à fait silencieux. Il permet de charger des lipo ou des life de tout type et s'arrête de changer quand ce n'est plus nécessaire.

Well, what can I say about this charger?
It's perfect for any batteries you have, althought for specific batteries voltage (check the techical data or lower in description). And to charger my battery, it tooked like 1.30 or 2 hours

This charger is simple to use and works perfectly. The charging indicators are clear, and it charges my batteries safely and efficiently every time. It's compact enough to take with me to games and gives me confidence that my batteries are being charged correctly. Excellent product for anyone looking for a dependable charger.

Does the job it is designed to do.
Light indicators are a great way to track if the battery is full.
Cord is a bit short.
I recommend buying a charging bag with a charger.
Design is not great but you are probably not buying this for its design.

Not much to be said here only that it charges. the led to let you know its fully charged is nice. The charger is made for EU wall sockets so if you live in a country with different sockets be prepared to buy an adapter which is only €2

Claims all my batteries are charged despite them being one being 22%, another 70% and only one at 86%.
Maybe the one I have is defective, but it has charged the one that is at 22% to a full state multiple times in the past

Really glad I got this charger! It makes charging my LiPo batteries super simple and worry-free. The lights let me know exactly when the battery is ready to go, and it charges pretty fast too. A must-have tool to keep your gun running all day!

I’ve been running these 0.23g PROSLICK BBs as a kind of “middle ground” ammo in a few different AEG setups and they’ve honestly been pretty solid overall. Feeding has been smooth in all my mid-cap mags so far, no jams or weird inconsistencies, even during faster paced CQB games. What I like about the 0.23g weight is that it sits nicely between speed and stability — a bit more stable than 0.20s, but still snappy enough for close and mid-range engagement.

In terms of flight, they’re surprisingly consistent for the price. I didn’t notice any obvious flyers in normal outdoor conditions, and hop-up response felt predictable once dialed in. The bag packaging is also practical, easy to pour into a speedloader without spilling everywhere, which is a small but useful detail on game days.

For casual skirmishes or as a budget-friendly primary BB, they do the job really well. I wouldn’t call them “premium competition grade”, but for regular gameplay they’re definitely reliable and easy to recommend.

Chargers came with a solid cardboard box and with a power cord. Very easy to use and charges batteries very fast.
Used it 2 times so far, I’m okay with the product.
Would recommend for any beginner.
Only downside is that it’s not capable of taking the batteries to “storage” mode. Other than that it’s good!

An essential tool if you are switching to Li-Po batteries. It's very simple to use: just plug it in and wait for the LEDs to turn green. It feels safe, doesn't overheat, and the compact size makes it easy to throw in your gear bag.

Its quite powerful and accurate even with the factory hop-up settings. The only down side (which is obvious when you buy a gun with wooden furniture) is that it can be damaged or scratched very easily by branches or hits on your gun.

Over all I'm satisfied

The charger make what he can! I used twice until when i buy that. I tink this is a good product for this price! The charging time is common. I recommend it to beginner players who dont want to invest a lot of money in the game at the beginning.

Perfect! I ordered this and tried them out, and they fly perfectly. They work really well with my CM.515. The 3000 rounds will surely last me a long time, as i mostly use semi-auto for skirmishes. The lid also makes it perfect for sealing or pouring them into a speed loader, therefore making it comfortable to hold anywhere. I recommend these.

Real wood feels very nice, reloading as well. The only problem is that you cant fit large stick battery in the receiver. Regular NiMh batteries dont fit either, so the only real options are smaller stick battery or small LiPo battery.

It is great for display in your house.

This BB gun is unbeatable for its price, featuring full metal construction and real wooden furniture, with a velocity of 440 fps and an impact power of 1.8J. For this price, it’s a steal!

The price-to-performance ratio is excellent. I tested the range and precision of this gun and was able to hit a human-sized target from about 70 meters away.

One area for improvement is the inner barrel. It has a diameter of 6.05mm, which works, but the BB’s flight path isn’t consistent, with some BBs drifting slightly to the left. This is understandable given the price. However, for those looking to use this as their primary gun for larger events, I would recommend upgrading to a 6.02mm or 6.03mm barrel for better precision.

The gun’s power is a bit high for most airsoft events, at least here in Sweden. Therefore, I recommend getting a weaker spring if you plan on using this as your main platform.

Ez egy nagyon jó kis töltö teszi a dolgát. Aránylag gyorsan is tölt. Jó a minősége söt nem is kerül sok pénzbe ez a töltö! én azt mondom ha bárkinek kell valami olcsó és jó akkor ezt a tőltöt ajánlom. The lipo batteries of 8fields are very good for there price, i thaught hmmm

Works perfectly. Very simple charger - you just connect the battery and it charges.

Be mindful to have the bottom switch in the proper position for charging your battery!

I also advise getting a proper measurement device to check the status of your batteries. You can do that with a multimeter, but a dedicated device is about 5 Euros so do not cheap out on it. The charger does NOT show you any info!

Works as intended, fast charges my batteries, never had any trouble at least for now. Build quality is not too high but that is to be expected for a product that costs less than 15 euros. All in all I consider this a good purchase

Arrived in perfect condition, despite the packiging was a bit rough. Fps got capped as we asked.
The replica does not include battery, and be careful what magzine you buy because some on them won't clip in.

These bb's are INCREDIBLEY handy to have. They are way cheaper than traditional bb's that you buy and the nozzle that is attached to the bag is SOOO good. You can save a lot of bb's because the nozzle doesn't allow them to spill everywhere. 10/10 would recommend

It is a great ak though you need extra mags get hi cap cyma and if they don’t fit like mine just shave alittle at a time so you don’t over shave. Great AK light even with materials used to create it (real wood and metal). Other than that the fps is great with 440 but you need to buy your own battery and charger i would get it at evike or amazon. 5/5 stars worth the price and wait

Out of the box the wood was a little damaged, it is compressed plywood. TG did offer a solution to remedy the damaged stock. Other then that for the price holy cow is it a great buy! The range is amazing .28 with very little hop added, hitting 150’ targets. This AEG will really benefit from a TB, but out of the box it is amazing. Ran it with a 11.1 with no issues lol. The only down side is the mags. CYMA mags will NOT work with it unless you do some shaving. Fuxing mags should work with little to no shaving needed. Other wise purchase double bell mags if you can find them. Also it’s extremely light for being a AK.

The first impression out of the box is that it is a cheap product. And it really is.
The charger is made out of the cheap plastic, it's very light, hollow, and something rattles inside the case.

I wouldn't mind any of the previously mentioned stuff if it worked fine, but for me, it doesn't. Charging was fine for the first few times, but after that the same thing happened as mentioned in the previous review. You plug in the battery, and it never charges completely, the LED is red all the time. I tried it with three different batteries, and it's the same case with all three (another charger charges them without any problem).

As with other cheap Chinese products, the price is very good, and it might work just fine for you, but there is a real chance it will not, and I don't think it's worth a risk. Better quality chargers are available for not much higher price.

The weapon is good quality almost full metal and wood, came in paper packaging which was suprising, but it's fine. The delivery was quick, couple of days max. Unfortunately the package got opened at boarder but it's not their fault.
In conclusion I'm satisfied.

This item is simply amazing, I was very happy when I bought it. I thought it wouldn't fit or I wouldn't like it, but everything turned out very well. I really regret not buying it earlier. Now I always like this thing and I will never leave it. At this price, it is very, very worth buying, believe me, it will really fit you and you will like it. I highly recommend you buy it, and buy it as early as possible before others buy it, because it won't be available. Buy as early as possible, because mine and your last airsoft game will be simply the best, believe me!!!

Truly a great battery charger for the price! But expect some "cons"...

The charger came in a generic carton box, the unboxing experience was really basic, but for the price it's not an issue. Included in the box was the charger, the 2 pin EU cable and instructions.

The Charger itself is made out of what seems to be an injection molded black satinated ABS plastic shell with on top 2 output LEDs, air vents for heat dissipation and a vynil sticker with the name of the charger. On the front side there are 2 ports, a three pin and a four pin one, on the back side there's the AC 110-240V cable port. On the back of the device there are 4 silicon rubber feet, the VERY IMPORTANT MICRO SWITCH that is used to select which type of battery you're charging and a vynil sticker with the informations of the device. The cable is decent quality too.

The IPOWER V3+ Battery Charger has 800mAh max charge current, meaning the microcontroller will manage the charging of the battery cells accordingly to their current level of charge. It will then deliver the right amount of current ranging from a few mAh to a maximum of 800 mAh. This means more battery life but also that the true average charging current is less than 800mAh, just keep that in mind! The charger supports 2/3 cell batteries and can charge only one at time.

The power LED is green and always stays on when the device is connected to AC. The status LED on the other hand has different color codes (Red, Red blinking and Green), meaning the microcontroller is somewhat enough intelligent to detect malfunctions and stop charging to prevent damage and tell you what's going on. In general the charger is not too noisy and the heat dissipation is enough.

But then, where are all the cons? For the price that's surely a bargain, but still...

The charger is poorly built. The plastic shell is decent quality but the charger really feels "light and empty" with very small internal support. That said, if you plan to take it with you it's surely better if you protect it or it could easily break.

Another thing that makes me "wonder why" is that the switch is under the device, meaning you can't easily see it. If it accidentally changes position it could be very painful for your battery... Be careful and always double-check it before charging!

In addition, if lightly shaked my unit sometimes emits a clicky noise (like there's something free moving inside) and have a misplaced rubber foot that is surely going to detach soon. Not to talk about the fact that the cable is just slightly bigger thant the port, so to attach it you really have to push or it won't go. But still, after pushinf it with some force the device managed to charge my battery in just a few hours without any problems!

Overall this truly is a 4 star charger. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't get it! For the price I don't think you could expect or want more, for some people in fact the important thing is just the internal hardware... And it seems like that the IPOWER V3+ decided to put all the budget for the electronics inside, which could be all you need if you want to buy a cheap charger that gets the job done and has a good microcontroller. Tho i wouldn't reccomend it too much if you travel much! Anyway i'm very happy with it as i am the first kind of person ;)

Good product in case of price and quality. I can't say anything special or critical. The batteries are charging properly, there are no breakdowns or problems. If you are saving money and need a stable and efficient lipo battery charger, then you can buy this product without doubts. Moreover, the Taiwangun shop has not yet disappointed with its products and this charger is suitable for both beginners and advanced players with a limited budget.

I've only used the charger once and it seemed to work fine, but the cable it came with did not fit the charger, meaning that the plastic was too thick. I fortunately had the necessary cable, but I am quite disappointed that the cable provided did not work.

Really nice gun. The real wood furniture, metal construction, and the realistic weight really sets it apart. Photos do not do it justice. I opted for the tune-up service so I cannot attest to how it comes from the factory, but as received from TaiwanGun it performs quite well.

This looks like a very welcome re-release of. The Kalash/Dboys AKM. Mostly steel and wood and very solidly put together, this is a fantastic replica of an iconic weapon. Every airsoft home should have an AK and this is one of the best, even now. Great value, free FPS downgrade and low postage costs are the Taiwangun icing on the cake. Seller and product highly recommended.

Very powerful gun 435fps. Fast shooting. Recommend. Hop-up made from plastic, but it is not big problem. Outside is made from wood and metal (only plastic grip). Battery used for this gun 7.4v LIPO - works great

This is a very good, high quality build from Double Bell. For a budget AK it is one of, if not the best choices there is.

The price, combined with the quality is outstanding.

The accuracy is very solid, although it tends to send BBs a bit to the left from time to time (this is also the reason why i gave this replica 4 stars instead of five).

I bought this for a friend and so far he has had no issues with it, other than running out of ammo because it is so fun to shoot.

Definetly recommend as a beginner gun.

Great product..my first replica that shoots with 11.1 battery without internal upgrade .with the replica I fired about 2500bb about 90 percent in burst mode in a good half hour ... it works as it should ..... Ein gutes ladegerät um den preis ist preisleistung top. Hab mir gleich paar akkus auch bestellt damit ich alles auf Lager hab. Nach einigen stunden laden wir es bisschen warm aber werden andere Ladegeräte auch villt bin ich da zu sensibel.

Perfect price-quality ratio. Easy to use it, good "how to use" manual for it. Fast charging, I use with 1800mh accumulators. Made from normal quality plastic material.

Good quality weapon with nice paint, unfortunately Double Bell is not re-producing the old full steel series, but it is still very solid, and the new quality internal parts represent a huge leap in quality, the engine is also betterUnfortunately the stock is 74, but the wood is very beautiful!

The power cable could be a little bit longer since its a little short i have to run an extension so i can charge my batteries safelly on the table

This is the second BY-023, I bought at taiwangun. The first one ( about 7 months ago), came with plywood buttstock and solid wood handguards ( The product photos reflected this also).
Now they have updated the product photos to show handguards and buttstock to be made of plywood, which my latest purchase also reflect. The overall finish of the wood is better than cymas, with a smooth, silky matt surface. Feel free to give it a coat with clear laquer, for a more "true" soviet look....

The overall fit and finish is good, with no loose components, and the safety lever closes nicely against the top cover ( Sometimes the manufactors miss this by a small margin ).

Performance wise, it shoots ok, with a healthy sound from the gearbox, and I have no problem hitting a 40x50cm target at 65 meters. The chrono report, I received with the gun, read 427- 432 fps, which my own measurements fits within 7 fps.

I like the fact that the battery fits under the top cover, so it shares batteries with the aks74 and other folding stock ak's. I noticed a small tap, on the push button, that holds the top cover. It stops against the gearbox toprail, and prevents the button sliding off the gearbox, when removing the top cover ( something I have tried waay to many times with the older dboys guns ).

The only bad thing, I can think of ( but enough to deduct a star), is that my MAG and Cyma magazines do not lock in place, unless I grind the top of the magazine release lever ( a problem, my other dboys / Double Bell ak's had ). I would not recommend grinding the rear tab of the magazines, as there would be too little material left.

Otherwise a great gun with decent performance out of the box, and a price that you cannot beat!

Very good charger. Had no trouble so far. Very clear instructions on how to use. Charges very well and very fast. Very compact, so you can take it anywhere you go to. Charges LiPo and LiFe, so that comes in handy.

V3+ Charger for LiPo/LiFe 2S/3S . Well nothing much to say pretty decent charger. It server purpose. You have led indicator for charging and charged battery. It's really small and compact, doesn't heat up when charging batteries.

Really good bbs for a low price. The bbs are made out of one pice so they won't break in your barrel. They come in a bag but you don't need to fill them in somewhere else because you can fill them easy out of the bag in your speedloder.

Bought one and used it for charging the "Battery Li-Po 1450mAh 7.4V 20C".
Works like it should be.
When the battery is charged it will show a green light. charging won't costs that long of a time and it's balanced.
Price/quality is worth it!

I bought one of them. Simple and fit for purpose, this is my first charger. I'm charging him a 1450 battery. It will charge in about an hour. I haven't noticed any bugs yet. If it lasts a long time, I’ll definitely buy one or even more of it.

I was plesantly suprised by this gun. Double Bell in the past D-Boys but in refurbished version and much better quality. After changing the hop rubber i managed to get to shoot it precisely.
