Skeletal Chest Rig - Coyote [8FIELDS]

Not much to say, basic chest rig, does the job and is cheap. Will have to figure out the back part though, I didn't realise it was some kind of bungee that holds the back together (will have to memorize the pattern of knoting to adjust it)

The shoulder part is too "weak" for a single point sling (but that was to be expected, nothing wrong here, just wanted to try).

The angle at which the shoulder parts are sewn together is a bit off so there is no way to adjust the rig and have the straps go flush with the body. I'm comparing it to my current Helikon Tex competition multigun rig and that one sits perfectly but it also costs ten times more. This one is gonna be the base for a cosplay anyway so matters not so much.

Rainy Day Bliss! After years of experimenting with different plate carrier setups and changing out pieces of kit or refitting, I finally settled with this Skeletal Rig by 8FIELDS. I am using the product professionally in rainy or cold weather conditions worn over a softshell or smock jacket. The upside down mounted zipper ensures the rig won't open under it's own weight. It easily lets me slip off all my kit in one go when necessary while all the time letting me keep on my body armor under my clothes. The ultralight chest rig combined with a low vis plate carrier worn under your jacket is just a really nice option to have. While the snug fit and completely modular approach for a personal setup makes it beat all other micro rigs and chest harnesses I tested up to today. If you preferred your military grade split harness but want something even lighter and more mobile, this is definitely the one. Easy to understand why they sold out so fast the last time. Picked one up as soon as they where back in stock. Five stars!!!!!
