Solid riser mount that improves ergonomics, but has some quirks

I’ve been using the WADSN medium mount for a red dot + PEQ, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to — raises your optic and frees up rail space. The height makes aiming much more comfortable, especially if you’re running a headset or mask, and it helps with a more natural head position.

The build quality is good for the price — CNC aluminum construction feels sturdy and installs easily on a standard Picatinny rail.

One of the biggest advantages is how it lets you stack accessories (like a PEQ) above the rail, improving balance and clearing up hand space.

Pros:

Cons:

Can feel a bit bulky/high for some setups
PEQ/light alignment may not be perfect (can cast shadow or hit the gun)
Not “real steel” quality — more of a budget repro

Verry good product for the price. I enjoyed using it in the field, but there is a little problem, could be a bit brighter at max brightness, if it’s sunny/bright, but cloudy its hard to see the dot. But overall a great product, would recommend for those who are on a budget.

I bought this some time ago and it has been through some games and I’ll tell you that this sight is genuinely so good for the price, it is powered by 4 lr44 batteries that are very easlily changeable and they do a good job because you see the sight really good. Mid day, 25 degrees Celsius in a forest, you can clearly see the holo point, either in red or green, whichever you prefer. It is very easy to adjust the sight both for wind and “length” using a screwdriver or a key or anything. And of course it picatinny so it goes on anything and everything. Really recommend it!

Absolutely love this red dot holo sight! Super clear lens, crisp reticle, and holds zero perfectly even after heavy use. Quick target acquisition and easy mounting. Solid build definitely worth it, dont miss it

Overall, I found this sight to be decent. The main issue I encountered was visibility in outdoor settings the sight picture can be difficult to see in bright light. However, it performs flawlessly in CQB environments. The battery life was shorter than expected, though that might be due to using lower-quality batteries. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would still recommend this sight to anyone.

This Hydra mount repro was the exact thing I needed to maximize rail space and functionality for my PEQ15 on my MK18. It has a smooth finish and an easy install, and really gives that "high-speed operator" look to your gun. Super happy with this purchase.

Perfect quality and height.

I had an aim-o 8 slot optical base riser for my holo, but that was still not high enough. I had trouble with cheek weld, my headset would hit the stock of my rifle making aiming troublesome.

This mount raises the sight just right to mitigate the issue!

I did not have the opportunity to try the PEQ mount part, as I only have a dummy PEQ, but I would imagine if you use a PEQ light with this mount, the light will shine on the top of your weapon, unless you have a focused light.

Sturdy optic, made from aluminum, comes with a plastic protective case with foam in it but the reticle isn't that bright for outdoor fields, it's barely visible at day with the sunlight hitting it making it useless, the other problem i have is that when i put it in the case, the foam presses the buttons, turning it on and draining the batteries. Overall I recommend it for indoor use only, looks great, feels solid, field of view is great.

The build quality on this optic is pretty nice. Feels well built, quite solid, and the right amount of weight.
The holographic sight itself is pretty decent for the price. I can tell it’s not perfect, but it’s close to being a clear and clean reticle.
The only real issue I have with this optic is that while it can get plenty bright inside, outside this thing is not very bright. It’s enough for me to see and still shoot, but I would prefer something a little brighter.
For the price I think this is pretty fair, but in all honesty I’d recommend spending a little bit more and getting something that can produce a brighter reticle.

The red dot is of good construction, functions as intended.
For the one i got the reticle had some shadowing/mirroring which is to be expected at the price point.
The big reason for the 3 stars is the reticle brightness was not able to be seen in daylight with fresh batteries on either color at full brightness.
Might just be the one i got,but you have been warned.

Great looking and working holo sight! Let’s start with the body: strong body can take a couple of hits! Outer part is metal. Has a good weight to it! The brightness of the holo sight is great and changeable! Red and green! This holo is a must have!

The build of the sight was great! The box that it comes in is very protective and is good for storing it when it is not on a gun. The optic itself is bright and can be seen day and night. It is easy to mount with no interruptions. Would recommend for your gun.

Good balance between metal and plastic, the outer frame/ housing for the red dot is metal and the bottom mounting plate and bolts and it does have a good weight to it.
levels of brightness for both red and green illumination (batteries included)!
Good clarity when looking down the scope.
Easy to zero.

A sturdy sight, it is quite adjustable, quite thick ;), but that is a good thing if you like it like that. The metal outer cover can be removed if you like it thinner and lighter.

Don't worry about the battery, they come included!

Works really well. Really good quality for the price. Don't look any further if you're looking for a holosight for airsoft, this is all you need.

Very sturdy aluminium construction. Inner and outer construction with room in between, so i suspect it's made to absorb some impact. Nice and bright reticule. Adjustable in brightness and can be toggled from red to green. Easy installation.

It takes a bit of trying to get the battery compartment cap off. Instruction is not really clear on this, i had to find it out for myself. Lift up the latch and apply some force to slide the cap off in the direction that would point to the front of your barrel. (only way i can describe it)
