      It's a very simple thing, actually, but it makes your life very easy. When hit, pull the cloth piece and hold it up. When back in the safe zone, put it back and close it by putting the cloth piece back on its velcro strap, done.

      Do you really need this? No, you can get a simple red piece of cloth yourself. Is it useful and will I ever NOT use it? Nope, it's now a standard piece on my chest rig.

This product is very convenient since your only other option for a dead rag would be just a plain, old rag that you have to carry around in one of your pockets, when you get killed you have to search for it, and then fix it on yourself somewhere. And once you are revived you have to remove it and tuck it back wherever you keep it.
      This all takes time and effort.
      While this is already fixed on you via a MOLLE system, it takes one swift pull to reveal the red rag, although it takes some effort to tuck it back.
      For that price, this was worth it.
