US WW2 Canteen Cover [8FIELDS]

Perfectly serviceable WW2 canteen cover. It fits my reproduction canteen and cup perfectly, with both the cup and canteen being easy to remove. It also fits a real 1980s canteen with cup, but more snugly.

It has a liner of what looks like fake fur (the original had wool). The purpose of the liner is to cool the contents when wet, and insulate when hot. I think it will certainly insulate well, but not sure about the cooling.

The material of the cover itself feels strong and well made. It looks like real cotton canvas, and doesn't gleam in the sun like artificial fibers. The webbing on the back, however, may contain some artificial fibers. It looks to be the same material as MIL-TEC webbing.

The M1910 hook fits well onto my MIL-TEC pistol belt, and my 8fields M1 Garand ammo belt. The spacing eyelets on the 8fields belt is wider, but it still works and is not difficult to attach or remove. On a real ALICE belt however, it is very difficult, but doable. The hook appears to be strong.

In summary, this is at least equal to what MIL-TEC offers, and the price is amazing. Strongly recommended!

Fits perfectly on the World War 2 era US battle belt. Practical item for a longer airsoft game or must have one for an authentic look. Its material seems to be pretty durable. It worth its prize.

Purchased this as part of my first ever WW2 loadout, if you are as big as me water is your best friend when playing airsoft!

The interior is lined with this soft fluffy material, actually makes a lovely hand warmer if you wanna use it that way!

I purchased a replica WW2 water canteen & cup online elsewhere and they fit perfectly in this canteen pouch! Snug as a bug!
