      These will hold more than just M4 mags, but its a bit hit or miss. 7.62x39 magazines will fit with some force, and will be retained, but they wont sit nicely. These come with a Velcro lining, so they could be used to hold several smaller items, but its nothing Ive tested. They will hold a Baofeng UV5R with the extended battery very securely, and wont actuate the buttons.
