Hop-up assembly service in the context of airsoft refers to the process of installing, adjusting or replacing a hop-up in airsoft guns. Hop-up is a mechanism that affects the trajectory of airsoft balls by giving them rotation in flight. Correct setting of the hop-up can increase the precision of shots and the range of the airsoft gun

Hop-up assembly may include disassembly of the gun's cover access to the hop-up chamber and replacement of the mechanism itself. In the case of adjustments, the assembler will need to adjust the hop-up settings, such as the pressure of the rubber banding on the BBs to achieve the optimal flight trajectory.
