The polymer buffer 3DM for TM / DE GBBR replicas is a lightweight tuning component designed to modify the operation of a gas replica with a blowback system. The construction uses a deadblow design, a reduced-weight structure and improved operation in lower temperatures, supporting a more stable operating cycle of the GBBR replica. The buffer is intended for tuning TM / DE GBBR replicas and works best with the polymer bolt carrier end piece, available separately.

Construction and design

The 3DM buffer was developed as a lightweight tuning component for TM / DE GBBR replicas. The polymer body helps reduce the weight of the part working inside the replica's return system, while the 25 mm diameter is responsible for fitment with compatible stock tubes.

An internal aluminum moving weight with a deadblow design is used inside the buffer. This construction helps reduce the risk of bolt bounce while maintaining a noticeable operation of the blowback system.

GBBR replica tuning

In a GBBR replica, gas is responsible for the movement of the bolt carrier, the operating cycle and the blowback system. A lighter buffer may support replica operation in lower temperatures and may affect the rate of fire and gas efficiency in standard operating temperatures.

The manufacturer indicates that the buffer works best together with the polymer bolt carrier end piece, which is available separately. This combination allows further modification of the moving mass in the system.

Installation and use

Installation requires removing the rear body pin, opening the receiver and releasing the buffer retainer. After removing the original buffer and spring, install the new buffer together with the spring, paying attention to its correct orientation.
