      The construction of the grip is solid. Sadly, I cant get it to fit on my M249 replica because it doesnt fit on thin rails. The mounting is easy, just slide it on the rail while holding the teeth of the grip, after sliding it into the desired place, release the teeth and there you have it :)

      The side plate that you can remove needs some man handling but it will come off so that you can add a preshure pad dor whatever you use.
