      The A&K M1 rifle arrived with a loose rear handguard, which probably loosed during transport. This was very disappointing. The hex screw fastening the gas assembly to the barrel was too stiff and I am unable to unscrew it, resulting in not being able to dissasemble the whole rifle.
      The wood grain is fantastic and the selector switch is nog at bother and easily removed.

      Looks are great, realy nice finish of the wood and metals. There was a little error on the front guard but it was an easy fix.
      There are no markings and the replica has an auto firing mode, wich is realy weird for an M1 garand. The bolt makes a nice metallic sound when moving but it moves just enough to adjust the hopup and can't be locked. The trigger is a bit stiff but not to bad.
      It performs ok. It performs like a normal standard aeg.

      another plus point is that an original WW2 US Bayonet will fit as with the ICS and G&G will not.
      i have compared it side by side with an original M1 Rifle and there is nearly no difference .

      there is minor big complaint....
      the fire selecter on the left side of the reciever ...why ???
      but! it is easily removed, and just grind al little bit of the screw thread away and the reciever is flat again SO !!

      If you are looking for an historically accurate M1 rifle with 95% the correct dimension as an original M1 rifle THIS IS IT !!
      it even has the winter trigger guard that most other replicas dont have

      Very realistic replica with wood and metal component and good price. I prefere the us only in semi automatic because the magazine is limiteted. Perfect for reenacment WW2 U.S. army. For Italy choose the 1 joule version maximum permitted in game.
