CM.068C, GEN-2 [CYMA]

The CM.068C GEN-2 airsoft rifle by CYMA is an electric model based on the AR platform, designed for mid-range gameplay. The construction uses a V2 GEN-2 gearbox with a quick spring change system, CYMA MOSFET and metal receiver with a 13" aluminum KeyMod handguard, supporting stable operation, convenient accessory configuration and responsive handling.

Construction and design

The CM.068C GEN-2 is made from a combination of metal and polymer. Metal elements include the rifle receiver, handguard, mechanical iron sights, mock muzzle brake and control elements, while the SF stock and pistol grip are made of polymer.

The airsoft gun uses a 13" KeyMod handguard with a top Picatinny rail, allowing optics and additional accessories to be mounted. The handguard also includes Picatinny rail sections: one 9-slot section and two 5-slot sections, allowing the configuration to be expanded.

The model has an outer barrel finished with a 14 mm CCW thread, allowing compatible muzzle devices to be mounted. The serial number is located on the left side of the lower receiver.

Ergonomics and handling

The adjustable 6-position SF stock allows the length of the airsoft gun to be adapted. The battery space is located in the stock and buffer tube, helping maintain a practical balance of the rifle.

The functional charging handle and bolt catch make access to the hop-up adjustment easier. The ambidextrous magazine catch supports comfortable handling for both right- and left-handed users.

Internal parts and mechanics

The heart of the airsoft gun is a V2 GEN-2 gearbox with a quick spring change system. This construction makes it easier to adjust the power of the airsoft gun to field limits.

Inside, the model uses 8 mm steel ball bearings, 18:1 gears, a steel bearing spring guide and a piston with a full steel rack and aluminum piston head. The pneumatic system includes an aluminum cylinder head, type 0 cylinder and a 21.0 mm teflon nozzle.

The airsoft gun uses a long-type High Torque motor, which supports efficient operation of the mechanical system.

Electronic system

The CM.068C GEN-2 is equipped with a CYMA MOSFET, which supports the operation of the electrical system and the trigger response of the airsoft gun. The model uses a T-connect plug.

Hop-up and inner barrel

The metal rotary hop-up chamber allows precise adjustment of the BB trajectory. The stable hop-up setting supports shot-to-shot consistency and allows the airsoft gun to be adapted to the selected BB weight.

The 6.03 mm brass inner barrel with a length of 405 mm supports grouping and stable BB guidance during the shot. This combination suits an airsoft gun designed for mid-range gameplay.

Performance and precision

The factory muzzle velocity is ~390 FPS.

The rate of fire is 19 RPS.
