CM.045C, GEN-2 [CYMA]

The CM.045C GEN-2 airsoft rifle by CYMA is an electric AEG based on the compact AKS-74U design, featuring a tactical handguard with RIS rails and a metal side-folding stock. The replica combines a GEN-2 V3 gearbox with a Quick Spring Change (QSC) system, a CYMA V3 MOSFET, and a tactical quad rail handguard, allowing the installation of additional accessories.

Construction and design

The CM.045C GEN-2 replica retains the distinctive silhouette of the compact AKS-74U rifle, combining the traditional AK platform layout with modern tactical components.

The construction combines metal and polymer components. The metal side-folding stock allows the overall length of the replica to be reduced during transportation and makes it easier to handle in confined spaces.

The model features a tactical quad rail handguard with RIS rails. These allow the installation of compatible foregrips, flashlights, laser aiming devices, and other accessories.

The replica's compact dimensions make it easier to change positions and handle the rifle during dynamic CQB airsoft games.

The replica features an individual serial number.

Ergonomics and handling

The metal side-folding stock allows the replica's overall length to be reduced for transportation and movement in confined spaces.

The tactical handguard with four RIS rails allows additional equipment to be positioned according to the user's preferences and the requirements of different airsoft scenarios.

The compact AKS-74U design is suited to situations requiring efficient handling at short distances.

Internal components and mechanics

The replica features a GEN-2 V3 gearbox equipped with 8 mm ball bearings and a piston with a full metal tooth rack.

The pneumatic system features a Type 1 cylinder, with a configuration suited to the length of the installed inner barrel.

The mechanism is driven by a short-type high-torque motor with neodymium magnets, supporting gearbox operation and trigger response.

The gearbox also features a Quick Spring Change (QSC) system, allowing the main spring to be replaced without opening the gearbox shell.
To access the QSC system, the gearbox must first be removed from the replica's receiver. Once removed, the spring can be replaced without opening the gearbox shell, making it easier to adjust the replica's power configuration to meet the requirements of different airsoft games.

Electronic system

The CM.045C GEN-2 features a CYMA V3 MOSFET, responsible for controlling the operation of the replica's electrical system.

The MOSFET supports electrical system operation and trigger response during firing.

Performance and accuracy

The model features an inner barrel measuring 300 mm in length and 6.05 mm in diameter, supporting shot-to-shot consistency.

The replica uses a slider-adjustable hop-up chamber, characteristic of the AK platform.

The adjustment allows BB backspin to be adapted to the weight of the BBs used and shooting conditions.

Power supply

The replica uses a T-connect connector and is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V LiPo batteries.

The battery is housed under the receiver cover.
