CM.028A Sport Line, GEN-2 [CYMA]

CM.028A GEN-2 by CYMA is an evolution of the classic AK platform toward a more tactical and functional configuration, based on the TM standard and a proven design trusted by airsoft players. In the Sport Line version, the model offers improved balance, enhanced usability, and expanded options for accessory configuration thanks to RIS-equipped components, while the GEN-2 design and MOSFET CYMA V3 system provide smoother operation and better trigger response. It is a strong choice for airsoft players who want to combine a classic AK base with a more modern, tactical setup.

Sport Line Series

The Sport Line series is a CYMA product line designed to enhance functionality and user comfort. The applied design solutions improve balance, handling, and overall usability. For the player, this means a replica that is simply more comfortable to operate — both during dynamic gameplay and extended sessions.

External build - what it means in practice

The replica is constructed from a combination of durable polymer and metal components, maintaining the solid character of the AK platform while improving overall comfort of use. The well-balanced construction allows the replica to sit naturally in the hands and prevents fatigue during prolonged use.

The model features an individual serial number, which makes identification easier and highlights its uniqueness.

Well-fitted components ensure structural stability and a secure grip, giving the player better control over the replica both while firing and during dynamic movement.

Model A - more tactical character

The CM.028 in version A has been equipped with external elements that give it a more modern, tactical look. The polymer handguard with RIS rail and the gas tube cover with RIS allow for mounting additional accessories such as a flashlight or vertical grip, directly increasing the replica's functionality in the field.

The contoured pistol grip improves ergonomics and handling, providing better control during shooting and faster reactions in dynamic situations.

Internal build - upgrades and player benefits

Internally, the replica follows the TM standard, ensuring wide compatibility with aftermarket parts as well as ease of servicing and further upgrades. The gearbox v3 is based on proven solutions such as 8 mm bushings and a sealed nozzle (19.70 mm), ensuring stable and consistent performance.

The GEN-2 version features a quick spring change system (QSC), allowing convenient adjustment of the replica's power depending on the type of gameplay. For the player, this means one replica can be used across different environments without the need to switch platforms.

The MOSFET CYMA V3 system improves trigger response, increases electrical efficiency, and enhances overall operation smoothness — resulting in a more responsive and fluid shooting experience.

Performance and usability

The replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system and a 455 mm inner barrel, supporting accuracy and shot consistency at medium ranges. For the player, this means better control over BB trajectory and more predictable performance during gameplay.

Classic AK platform controls remain intuitive, making the replica suitable for both beginners and more experienced users.

Power and compatibility

The replica uses a T-connect connector and is compatible with 11.1V LiPo and 7.4V LiPo batteries. This allows the user to choose a setup that best fits their preferred performance. The battery is housed in the stock, making it easy to replace while maintaining proper balance.
