CM.357AM Full Metal - Negro [CYMA]

Really like this sawed off. It's not the smallest but it's definitely great for cqb. Works the best with 0.28 bb's. I personally use it with a red dot, but it's usable without.
It's nice to get 3 shells included and a 4 shot holder as well

It shoots nice with a little spread but quite accurate (for a shotgun).
It overhops a litte with 0.25 gram BBs 0.30 works perfectly.
The qd is not interchangable with other qd swivels
The grip makes it very difficult to aim with this thing

Does best with .25 gram bbs,doesnt have as much range as my regular .356 cyma springer which reaches VERY far with .30 gram bbs but for cqb this will do nicely. one main complaint that i have is that there are no threads on shotgun unlike the other models sold by cyma, and that the innerbarrel assembly wobbles alot affecting range and accuracy (held by a grub screw under the front screw cap for shell storage (fixed this with o rings shoved between the inner barrel assembly and gluing in the grub screw. BE CAREFUL WITH THAT GRUB SCREW IT WILL STRIP. Otherwise a fantastic gun for the money!

Shoots fine for CQB (very accurately up to 20 +/- meters) with 0.28 BBs. The fact that its a springer means it is always cocked so the trigger response is instant. The trigger itself is very hard and resistant to pulling. I don't like the grip style. It makes for a weird uncomfortable hold when aiming. However I intentionally got this model, because it is the most compact cyma shotgun, comes with a rail and shell holder. I plan to switch the grip with the pistol style one from the cm351 and install a foregrip for easier pump action.

It is an okay shotgun. Do not mistake the angle of the grib, you have to hold your hand a little weird which might become annoying if you play with this a long time. My friend and I both thought it looked cool but the grip is not pleasant so we got replacement pistol grips. for the price it is an excellent deal, it comes with 3 shells and a rail, for beginners who want to try out shotguns I would definitely recommend a Cyma shotgun, but not this particular model.

After owning this shotgun for a week and bringing it to two skirmishes on two different fields, I can say with confidence that this is another excellent product from CYMA and possibly the best spring shotgun on the market.

Packaging and Contents:
The contents are packaged very well in dense, grey foam - no annoying, messy white styrofoam in sight! The box contents include:
- The shotgun itself
- Three shells
- A full-metal shell holder, which can be mounted to the side of the gun
- An Allen key and two screws for mounting the shell holder
- A bag of BB's and a speedloader
- A safety sheet/target
- A cleaning rod

I would quickly like to add that the quality of the speedloader included was surprisingly good. Being just an additional piece, I expected the speedloader to be sub-par but it is actually one of the sturdiest speedloaders I have ever used. Seriously!

First Impressions:
Picking the shotgun out of the box, I immediately noticed the weight and the build quality. The gun felt weighty and satisfying to hold, with a good balance. The finish of the metal is flawless with no bumps or pits. The removable Picatinny rail on top is also metal and it felt sturdy and ideal for mounting sights. Everything on the gun is made of metal except for the grip and the pump, which are made of a polymer with a rough finish. I was particularly impressed by the sturdiness of the trigger guard, it is very thick but also streamlined, so there is no danger of it ever snapping. All the parts were tight with no wobble whatsoever.

Performance:
Wow. This gun does not disappoint when it comes to performance. It has a very tight spread and I've tested it to be consistently accurate at ranges over 30 metres! I've used it at both an indoor CQB range and an outdoor forest range and it was perfect for close-range engagements and very useable for even mid-range outdoors. The stockless design makes this gun very maneuverable - the perfect primary for a run-and-gun play style, in fact, I'd recommend it over the versions with stocks because of this.

Pros:
- Excellent build quality, sturdy metal body.
- Very accurate for a shotgun with tight spread.
- Very short trigger pull, making it responsive for close-range encounters.
- Handy quick-release sling point at the grip, just push down and pull to remove.
- Comes with everything you need to get started, ready to play out of the box.
- Excellent cheaper alternative to expensive gas and electric shotguns.

Cons:
- No sights are included, only an empty rail. This made it hard to aim out of the box and I would recommend purchasing a red dot sight if you plan on using this at longer ranges (I used the DOT SIGHT 1X40 [PCS] you can get on this site).
- There is no instruction manual included.
- The pump is a bit stiff and can be hard if you aren't used to it. Don't be afraid to give it a hard pull to make sure it is engaged before pulling the trigger!
- The grip can be a little slippery while wearing gloves. Either use it without gloves or stick some grip tape to it.
- The pump tends to leave a mark on the barrel and although it isn't too noticeable initially, I imagine this would get worse over time.
- The empty shell will only drop out of the shell door around half of the time, sometimes it gets stuck and you need to nudge it out. Not a big deal, but it can get annoying during gameplay.
- Fixed hop-up, meaning you need to use a specific BB weight for optimal results.

Pro-tips:
- I found that 0.25g BBs are ideal for this gun. The hop-up seems to hop 0.25g perfectly while over-hopping 0.20g and 0.23g and under-hopping 0.32g and larger. 0.28g BBs might also be good for this shotgun but I didn't have any to test this. I find that the best BBs on Taiwangun is the BLS brand.
- You can actually unscrew the front of the tube by hand and store two extra shells in the shotgun for backup.
- You can slam-fire this shotgun by holding the trigger and pumping to fire. This way you can fire the shotgun as fast as you can pump, significantly increasing the fire rate but decreasing accuracy.
- I recommend purchasing more shells or a drum magazine as the three shells provided get used up very quickly. I got the BattleAxe 1200RD ELECTRIC DRUM MAGAZINE FOR SHOTGUN - BLACK, which is perfect for this shotgun but just be aware that you will have to remove the shell door to use it. There are disassembly videos available on YouTube; but a word of warning: these shotguns are NOT easy to disassemble, do so at your own risk!
- Finally, get a sling for this thing, your tired arms will thank you! I recommend a single-point sling to attach to the quick-release sling point on the grip.

Conclusion:
Overall I am very happy with this shotgun and I can say that the good reputation of CYMA's tri-shot series is well deserved. If you are looking for a fun, close-quarters alternative to all the generic M4s and AKs out there, look no further than this great little piece.

This item is a beautiful replica. It is heavy and massive, like a real shotgun.
The overall look and feel are perfect.

The packaging, also, is excellent.

In some videos, I saw some struggling to get the shells out, but in this replica, they easily fall when you need to change them.

I am very satisfied!
