Gas-powered Colt M1911 A1 U.S. Army replica is a design developed in cooperation with 6mm Pro Shop, based on one of the most recognizable short firearm platforms of the 20th century. The Blowback system, full licensed Colt markings, and full-metal construction support realistic handling and the characteristic operating feel of the 1911 platform.

Construction and design

The model is based on the classic Colt M1911 A1 U.S. Army design, which for decades served as the standard sidearm of the U.S. Armed Forces and became one of the most recognizable handgun platforms in pop culture. The Colt 1911 design has permanently entered pop culture history as an icon of American sidearms, appearing in productions such as “Saving Private Ryan," “The Punisher," and in popular video games like “Call of Duty," “Battlefield," “Resident Evil," and “Metal Gear Solid."

The replica features official Colt licensing and full markings applied to the slide and frame, ensuring visual consistency with the real firearm.

The construction is made entirely of metal, including the slide, frame, outer barrel, magazine, and control elements. This metal build supports realistic weight distribution and the characteristic slide operation in the GBB system.

The slide features front and rear serrations that support a secure grip during cycling. This improves handling, including when wearing tactical gloves.
