It belongs to the Lightning Series, which thanks to the use of a lightweight aluminum bolt carrier and an optimized return system ensures excellent responsiveness and a fast operating cycle. The heart of the replica is the CYMA CGS system, developed with T8 and based on the TM MWS platform, ensuring realistic blowback and compatibility with tuning parts.

History and facts

The Colt M733 Commando is one of the most recognizable variants of the CAR-15 family, developed in the 1980s as a compact version of the M16 rifle. It was designed to meet the needs of special forces for a shorter, more mobile weapon better suited for CQB operations.

The M733 model was widely used by special forces units. It was also a commercial firearm used by foreign military forces such as those in El Salvador and Mexico. In the United States, it was mainly used by SWAT units.

An interesting fact is that the M733 also appeared in pop culture, it can be seen in the cult film “Heat" (1995), where it was used in one of the most intense action scenes in cinema.

Construction and details

The replica is made of metal and features realistic “COLT M16A2" markings on the lower receiver. The classic upper with a carry handle and integrated rear sight fully preserves the retro character of the design.
