CM.040, GEN-2 [CYMA]

CM.040 GEN 2 CYMA is an AKS-74-style replica designed for durability and stable performance. The model is part of the 040 series, combining metal external components with a classic v3 gearbox system, enhanced by the CYMA V3 MOSFET.

Construction and design

The replica follows the classic AK platform layout in a configuration inspired by AKS-74 models with a side-folding stock. The design supports stable handling and efficient operation in various setups.

Build

The receiver and key structural components are made of metal, complemented by aluminum and polymer parts (handguard, grip). This setup provides resistance to field use while maintaining realistic weight and handling characteristics.

The overall fit follows the 040 series standard, supporting stable construction in use.

Internal design and mechanics

The replica uses a v3 gearbox. The system is based on 8 mm ball bearings, a piston with a full metal rack, and a short hi-torque motor with neodymium magnets.

The type 0 cylinder matches the inner barrel length and supports efficient pneumatic operation.

The QSC quick spring change system allows spring replacement without disassembling the gearbox.

The CYMA V3 MOSFET improves electrical efficiency and ensures consistent performance.

Performance

The replica delivers up to 400 FPS (stock) and uses a 500 mm inner barrel with a 6.05 mm diameter. This configuration supports stable BB trajectory and shot consistency.

The metal AK-type hop-up chamber allows BB trajectory adjustment.

Power supply

The replica uses a T-connect connector and is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V LiPo batteries. The battery is stored under the dust cover.
