The CM.052A GEN-2 machine gun replica from CYMA is an electric RPK-74M replica with a side-folding stock and a reinforced V3 gearbox configuration. The GEN-2 series, V3 gearbox with quick spring change system, and CYMA V3 MOSFET system support stable operation in a fire support role.

Construction and design

The CM.052A GEN-2 is based on the RPK-74M design, a machine gun built around the AK platform and adapted for intensive support fire. The side-folding stock allows the replica's length to be reduced during transport and makes carrying easier.

The construction combines polymer and metal, including steel and ZnAl. Steel components include the bipod, flash hider, receiver with top cover, trigger guard, magazine catch, and cleaning rod. Polymer is used for the stock, handguard, pistol grip, and magazine.

The 14 mm CCW thread on the outer barrel enables the installation of compatible muzzle devices. The serial number is located on the left side of the receiver.

Ergonomics and handling

The polymer folding stock supports more convenient handling during transport. The bipod allows the replica to be stabilized in a supported position, which is important with a longer replica design and when used in a support role.

The Hi-Cap magazine with an 800 BB capacity allows longer fire without frequent magazine changes. The set includes 2 magazines, increasing the available ammunition supply.

Internal parts and mechanics
