Drewniana Konwersja do AK47 Rumuńskiego [BattleAxe]

Overall very beautiful, the finish is beautiful its smooth its nice to hold on to. But one small thing i hade to file down the handguard a bit because it didn't fit my AKM but thats no biggie. In my opinion its very nice and its just a great purchase.

I recently installed the Wooden Conversion for Romanian AK47 [BattleAxe], and I can honestly say it completely transformed the look and feel of my replica. I always wanted a Romanian AK47 build and this was exactly what I needed.

First of all, the wood finish is beautiful. The color has a rich, natural tone with visible grain patterns that make it look far more authentic than standard polymer furniture. Once mounted, the rifle immediately gets that classic Eastern European military aesthetic. If you're going for a realistic Romanian-style AK build, this kit really delivers.

In terms of quality, I was pleasantly surprised. The wood feels solid and well-finished, with no rough edges or cheap varnish. It doesn’t feel like fragile decorative wood even though it's not that heavy (but this might be a good thing if you do not want extra weight to your replica), it feels durable and made for actual field use. After a few games, it still looks great, and minor scratches only add character rather than making it look worn out.

Installation required a bit of patience, as expected with AK platforms. Some minor fitting adjustments were needed, but nothing unusual. Once secured, everything sits tight with no wobble. The fit on my AK was very good overall.

What I personally love most is the improved handling. The wooden handguard feels comfortable and stable.

Overall, I highly recommend the Wooden Conversion for Romanian AK47 [BattleAxe] to anyone who wants to upgrade their AK from a basic look to something truly authentic and eye-catching. It’s a cosmetic upgrade, yes but it makes such a big difference that it feels like a completely new rifle.
