[Set] JG0450A AU-3G [J.G.Works] + 170rd AUG magazines (Box of 4)

This Steyr-AUG is very nice as an assault replica. I already own an A5 0.50 "Barrett", so I have mags available for this A3. The metal front of this rifle is quite heavy, but it seems to balance the overall weight quite well. I was considering to swap parts of this A3 with my older A5, but I'm not in a hurry. The trial shots were very good. No BB misfeeding, nice grouping. The fps is something I will measure later on. I want to swap the hopup-unit anyway first (I've got some aluminum cnc-machined ones which I also put into my A5 and the F2000, which is internally similar to a Steyr-AUG replica). This A3 is a very nice assault, already out of the box. The mosfet seems to work perfectly. I'm going to have a look at the gearbox internals, once I'll find the time. Then, after some fps readings, swapping the spring comes natural, ensuring that I'll touch the 1.2 J limit, while having a reliable gearbox performance in general. If you like the look&feel of a Steyr-AUG, you aren't doing anything wrong getting yourself this one.

As of writing this review, I have shot a couple thousand BBs and participated in 3 events with it. This replica is quality made. I haven't had a problem with it so far. It weighs 4kg, which is about 1kg more than most other replicas. The Picatinny rails are all metal, so it's heavier in the front. The included battery works well. It is a Ni MH type battery 8.4V. Therefore, it can be successfully replaced with a Lipo-type 11V battery, which is 2x smaller in size and has the same capacity. The replica looks very good. At every event, it attracts attention and is the subject of conversation.

the pretiest steyer AUG by far (in my opinion) looks modern with many slots for easy accessorizing and be able to install literally anything i want to. compatible with ACTION ARMY mid cap magazines that allready existed , thats another plus for me . only downsides is the weight that i knew from before since it is mentioned in specs , but when use a mustang scope and a flashlght it becomes significant heavy, Another downside is the creacky trigger which i solved with silicon lubricant.

These are really nice quality mags. I got tem for my AA R901 and they work great with it. They fit tightly (maybe a bit too tight), there is zero mag whobbling, and they feed perfectly. The spring is pretty strong, you will need to gradually load them over and over again to reach their full capacity. For this reason I recommend numbering them so you can use them evenly. They are transculent so you can easily see how many bbs you have left. They are made out of good quality and thick plastic, so they are pretty sturdy and nice to touch. On a side note you can insert them in a way that they will lock into place but they wont feed (at least on my replica) but you can see this as the top waffle line will be misaligned with the body.

Been playing with this rifle for some time. I have to say that it feels very good in hand, a bit heavy with the front aluminium part (i got it removed). I have 300 to 500 BBs shots and i have to say that i was expecting better.

Pros: Accuracy is somewhat fair, weight balance is just great, feels very good when playing in the mountains and steep terrain, changing semi to auto is just wonderfull, good internals, Quick change spring accessible from the stock. and comes with a buildin Mosfet.

Cons: Range could be better, if you slowy pull the trigger youll see that theres a part where the rifle tries to shoot but does not shoot, it does the sound but does nothing, not problematic. its a bit heavy for most people.

Good gun, a bit tight made everything is tight fit this is a good or bad thing how you look at it.I would prefer that the battery, wich would have a bit more room. I had a problem with gun magazine I think the spring stoper broke I will need to buy more magazines. Other then that I am happy with this gun.

Nice magazines, do fit the R906 from AA, only have to push some harder to get them in the replica. After a couple draws this gets better and hold the tight fitment.
Cheap and good box of mags, do recommend using these.

Everything holds thight. No creeks. Sits and feeds perfectly in a JG AUG. The plastic is tough.

The spring is very hard out of the box and I had to get it moving by filling it up and emptying repeatedly for a long time. Not a bad thing, just to note.

Visually fits any AUG too. I was afraid the mag body would be of a more vibrant colour, but it looks great regardless of your AUG being black or green.

Solid midcaps!

These are the single best AUG midcaps I ever used.
They feed awesomely!
They have a realistic weight, also the polymer isn't cheap, so they won't break the first time you accidentally drop them.
The translucent nature of them allows you to see how many bbs you have left (or you can put a dummy round sticker into it to make it look even more realistic)

Pros:
- excellent feeding
- translucent
- realistic weight
- thick, high-quality polymer

Cons:
- on the Army Armament AUG models, they are very hard to remove/insert at first, this either beds down over time or you can file the inside of the magwell down if you are impacient

Really great gun! Performs really well. J.G. Is a great budget brand that certainly has not cheaped out on the internals or build quality.

I had to eventually replace my Piston since it striped but that was after around 7000 BB's so you have sometime before it fails. But its a easy fix as the AUG is pretty easy to disasemble and replace a stripped piston. I do suggest to get a full metal 14 teeth one.

Overall great gun and its super accurate even on longer distances

* Great range.

* Great accuracy.

* Great weight balance.

* Great replica and feel.

* Trigger is super responsive if you get a good strong battery with it for Semi.

* To full auto you need to pull back the trigger fully. Allot of AUG's for example ASG have a really sensitive transition from the semi to auto mode. However with J.G. There is actually resistance and you need to press it firmly for it to snap into full auto which fixes the accidental auto firing.

* Great Internals. (All metal)

* Easy maintenance and acces to the gearbox.

* Quick change spring accessible from the stock.

* Comes with a build in Mosfet making the gun LiPo ready. If you want to use 11.1V its advisible to get a metal teeth piston and AoE the Piston and Sector Gear.

* While the gearbox is full metal and of great quallity the Piston is from plastic sadly and will need a replacement after a few thousand BB's. (Try to AoE the piston and the sector gear to prevent future malfunctioning)

* While the gearbox is solid the bolt cover ontop of it easily breaks so be carefull when trying to get it off the gearbox as its really stuck on there.
