A Look Into History

The M918G draws inspiration from weapon concepts designed for special operations, where soldiers needed to replenish ammunition behind enemy lines without leaving too much evidence. The original MK47 combined the ergonomics of the AR-15 platform with the ability to use the more powerful 7.62×39 mm round characteristic of the AK47. This provided increased firepower without sacrificing the familiar AR-style controls.

AR-15 Construction and Ergonomics

The replica is made of reinforced polymer, combined with metal elements (outer barrel, flash hider, stock tube), ensuring durability and low weight. A key feature is the licensed Aeroknox 10.5" handguard, equipped with 22 mm Picatinny rail segments and M-LOK slots for accessory mounting.

A unique serial number is located beneath the handguard. The top 22 mm rail allows mounting various optics, and all controls — magazine release, bolt catch, fire selector and charging handle — are ambidextrous, significantly improving ergonomics.
