JG101 T3-RAS [J.G.Works]

We are greeted with a really nice olive box with graphics on, something that amazes me every time i see it happen for low budget replicas. Removing the cover we are greeted with the same olive color that wraps around the whole box from the inside. Included with the replica is a Hi cap magazine, the manual, some practice targets, a front grip, a battery and a charger and last but not least a huge cleaning rod. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a rail mount for an optic and you have to buy one separately.

REPLICA

The replica is covered in this really basic yet really cool matte black color which has a really nice feeling into it.

Although it’s almost completely made out of plastic, the weight of the replica is more than noticeable at 3.04 kilograms.

The pistol grip is the signature G3 grip that in my opinion is more comfortable than the M4 ones.

We cannot fail to notice the massive RIS rail handguard that replaces the standard smooth one on this replica, that gives you more than enough space to mount any attachment you want except scopes.

The charging handle is of the same design as the MP5 which means it locks up in position and that qualifies for some satisfying reloads.

As for the iron sights, the front one is fixed in position while the rear one is adjustable for elevation.

The fire selector can be located as most of the replicas we’ve reviewed, in the left side of the lower receiver and clicks in place really well. On the oposite direction of the selector we notice that a white label indicates if the replica is on safe, semi or full auto.

The magazine can be released with 2 ways. We have the latch in the middle which you can pull to remove the magazine, or if you are bored there is also a button on the right side which does the exact same thing but less cooler.

The inner barrel is massive and sits at 510mm with an inner diameter of 6.08 mm.

At the end of the barrel we have a full metal flash hider that if removed a 14mm CCW thread is revealed to mount a flash hider or a suppressor of your preferance.

The included 8,4V Nimh type battery can be installed inside the stock.

In the left side of the stock we can find a sling mount point and we can find another mount point in the front of the replica, on the left side of the front iron sight. Both are made from metal.

Materials

The majority of the replicas body is made out of ABS plastic and has some really cool welding like details in certain points that are unnecessary but add to the aesthetics of the replica and it’s awesome to see getting implemented.

Hop up adjustment

To adjust the hop up all you need to do, according to the manual, is;

Pull the charging handle back and lock it in place.

Then using the wheel you adjust according to your liking.

I was totally satisfied with the product, the delivery was 3 working days wich is fast too i think. The materials are durable enough, and the replica works totally fine. The accuracy is very good, because of the long barrel, and i could easily adjust the hop up too. The important parts are metal, i, am using a gun belt on it and it works perfectly. The magazine doesn't moves at all, so i'am happy with the product.

The only problem is that i haven't found long optic rails to the weapon, but i ordered two smalls, modified a little and it works perfectly.
