CM.113A AK-74 Tactical Rifle Eshooter ETU, GEN-2 - Black [CYMA Platinum]

The CYMA Platinum AK-74 electric airsoft gun is based on the AK platform and features an extended aluminium front assembly and a folding stock with length adjustment. The Kestrel V3 MOSFET/ETU, QSC quick spring change system, and GEN-2 V3 gearbox support electronic control of the mechanism, efficient operation, and easier power adjustment.

Construction and design

The AK-74 airsoft gun features a 395 mm aluminium handguard equipped with RIS rails. They allow the installation of tactical grips, flashlights, lasers, and other accessories using a compatible mounting system.

The aluminium upper receiver cover features an integrated upper RIS rail designed for mounting a red dot sight or optical sight. A mock muzzle device is installed at the end of the outer barrel.

The airsoft gun uses 14 mm CCW and 24 mm CW threads. This allows compatible suppressors and tracer units to be installed.

The receiver is made of steel, while the handguard and upper receiver cover are aluminium. Nylon and zinc alloy are also used in the construction. An individual serial number is located on the receiver.

Ergonomics and handling

The folding stock offers nine length adjustment positions. The airsoft gun measures ~910 mm with the stock set to the first position and ~960 mm when fully extended.

The adjustable cheek rest allows the support height to be adapted to the iron sights or mounted optics. The rubberised butt pad helps provide stable placement against the shoulder, while the sling attachment point located near the stock mount allows a sling to be fitted.

The enlarged fire selector shelf facilitates switching between fire modes.

Internals and mechanics

The GEN-2 V3 gearbox uses the QSC quick spring change system, which facilitates spring replacement and allows the power of the airsoft gun to be adjusted to match game requirements.

The gearbox is equipped with 8 mm steel ball bearings, a piston with full steel teeth, and CNC gears with a 13:1 gear ratio operating in a short-stroke configuration. The mechanism is powered by a short high-torque neodymium motor.

The pneumatic system includes an aluminium silent head set, a steel type 0 cylinder, and a 19.58 mm PTFE nozzle with an O-ring. The steel spring guide is equipped with a bearing.

Electronic system

The Eshooter Kestrel V3 MOSFET/ETU electronically controls gearbox operation and supports a fast response of the mechanism when the trigger is pulled.

Power supply

The electrical system uses a T-connect connector. The battery compartment is located under the upper receiver cover.

Performance and accuracy

The AK-74 electric airsoft gun reaches ~400 FPS in the factory Stock version. A power adjustment service is also available, including a Medium variant rated at ~350 FPS and a Low variant reaching ~300 FPS.

This allows the muzzle velocity to be adapted to the user's requirements and the limits in force at the selected airsoft field.

The declared rate of fire is ~23 RPS.

The brass AEG inner barrel is 455 mm long and has a diameter of 6.03 mm. The metal AK-type hop-up chamber allows the BB spin and flight path to be adjusted.
