AK russian side folding buttstock (Gen 2) - Black [5KU]

Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich Klasse und lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Einzig die Passgenauigkeit zu meiner AKS-74u von Cyma ist nicht ganz so gut. Ein leichtes Spiel im aufgeklappten Zustand ist vorhanden, wackelt aber weniger als Stocks bei so manchen M4 Modellen.

Works like a glove! The stock is very sturdy and comfortable, little hard to fit at first but when fitted it sits super flush and nice, the stock is easily adjustable both butt pad and cheek raiser and sits perfectly in height for red dot sights using either side mount or a top rail. Really recommend

Fits like you can expect from a "universal" stock.

Perfect for my Cyma Cm.045A. Needed some tweeking to line up with the latch/notch that holds the folding stock since it comes without a installation manual but anyone can do this without much skill needed.

Love the look and the fact that it is adjustable in length makes it a great purchase.

Fits very well, no wobble and a nice stock all round
However, it had some issues that are easily fixed.

When mounting to an E&L Ak-74M, the size of the hinge on the stock was smaller than on the ak receiver by around 9mm. I solved this with 3d printed spacers and it works fine.
Secondly there is some vertical wobble when the stock is extended out, the wobble increases the further out you extend the stock. Fixed by threading a small M5 screw in through the last hole on the bottom of the stock, tightening it lightly stops all wobble.

Despite these small issues i still really like the stock and would recommend it for anyone modernising an AK

My favourite stock for AK. Awesome finish, great look and functionality.

Few things to consider before buying - hinge pin was different size than my E&L AK. I had to drill to make the hole bigger and then hammer in the pin in place (real AK experience) I enjoyed the process, that's how AK parts should be fit, especially zenitco parts.

There is some wobble in it but it is easy to shim with somethings, on the back of the reciever I glued a piece of cable tie, on the stock I put a bit of transparent tape and it's solid.

Remember to not overtighten the screws holding rubber pad, screws are small enough to go thru the rubber. Or just use appropriate size washers.

I will definitely buy again, good product!

On my model, the two main stock parts are a bit wobbly when extended, so I had to add some tape/shims between them so that they sat firmly.

Other than that issue, the build quality is great and the CNC aluminium is sturdy but light, so beware that if you had a heavy stock the balance will shift forward. And again, Taiwangun doesn't sell 5ku replicas of russian accessories with markings anymore, this one also lacks any markings.

I have an CM.040K rifle and wanted more flexibility out of my stock, since the triangle stock was too small for me to be efficient with the rifle.

Easy to install.
Have a lot of telescope positions, compared to M4/M16 stocks.
Comes with 2 sizes of shoulder pads.
Cheek rest have 4-5 height adjustments, you can also angle the cheek rest.
Looks and feels like high quality materials have been used.

Depending on your rifle/carbine it will get more bottom heavy.
Not really a disadvantage but i had to file the small metal adapter to get a better fit when folding the stock.
