      But there are things that I didnt like imediatly.
      Gearbox noise doesnt sound healthy, sound too scratchy/noisy. It was too overpowered for my country, so changed to m110 (and also the hop bucking since i prefer the 4uantum hop up buckings performance) so the energy reduction helped with the gearbox noise... im suspecting soon enough the gears will get a swap... lets wait
      While removing the top receiver, bits of the replica feel on my table, the small lip next to the buffer tube were broken or broke during disassembly, I didnt overforce or let it fall, either was broken already or reaaaaally weak.
      Im yet to test it in a field game, so I'm still making my mind if it really is worth the price tag.
      Other thing, mags are great! That one is guaranteed, however get ready to struggle finding pouches for them XD

      So, been over a year, I have to say, TWG did help out and held their own. I got gears swaped to JVAN sr25 gears. After trying different hopups, different buckings and barrels it came down to going back to original hopup, using maple leaf bucking and just filed open the window a bit, worked great... but then I r-hoped keeping original hopup and using a matrix bucking... the range is great, hit 70m haven't tried further. But even though it was a bit of a headache I have to say this is still a great rifle, amazing looks and fun to use. I also have to say TWG (they deserve 5 stars) did do a great job helping me and I am happy to have worked with them. Hopefully they allow shipment to USA again soon so I can order the ec202, yeah, but just gonna swap gears out the box and call it gold.

      Do not buy. I've heard that E&C has excellent quality control. Unfortunately, mine broke two gear teeth with less than 200 rounds through it. Currently working with TWG to see if I can get it warrantied.

      Buy it if you like doing tech work on a $375 gun before you get to properly play with it.

      That is very rarely happening, the client agreed to get the service parts from us and repair the replica itself.

      So, rounds were shooting up and right but now it's winning and not shooting or doing anything, sounds like gears stripped. Less then 500 rounds, still zeroing it in was just going to hold riffle at angle and deal with it till I could get hop up worked on at a shop and now it's gears sound stripped... I paid extra for shimming and relube and all that yet the gears stripped right away... I haven't even taken it to a game yet... I saw reviews that said it was a great gun, paid a large amount and it's not even able to fire... was happy with exterior but internals are horrible and don't know what to do now.

      Out of the box the rifle is beautiful and top notch. The externals are very well put together only down side is the plastic dust cover but it's not a big issue. The riffle fires as if already built and shoot exceptionally well beyond 200ft. The bad thing about MY specific one is the hop up didn't come installed correctly, so it shoots off to the right. The bbs will fly out far but whip up and right, I'm thinking it's just the nub that is slightly off set but shouldn't be an issue... I just hold the gun angled towards me and makes up for it to test. I will have to open up, get hop up and adjust the bucking and nub.

The EC203-DY replica in the Advanced edition is an upgraded version of the assault rifle, featuring high-quality components that enhance its performance, reliability, and accuracy. The construction is mainly made of metal. It comes with an integrated MOSFET and a rotary hop-up chamber with an improved bucking and spacer. In partnership with Taiwangun, E&C has masterfully crafted the EC203 replica, showcasing one of the most iconic US DMR weapons currently deployed on today's battlefield.

Ergonomic construction

The EC203 boasts a lengthy 22mm RIS rail on its top, coupled with a front handguard featuring M-lok System rails, facilitating the attachment of various accessories like flashlights, bipods, or other add-ons. Moreover, the handguard is outfitted with QD system mounts on both sides for sling attachment. Mechanical sights are affixed to the top RIS rail, replaceable with any optoelectronic aiming device as needed.

With its extendable 6-position stock, the EC203 ensures adaptability in various shooting scenarios. Staying true to the original design, E&C scored an important point by striving to stick as close as possible to the real weapon. This commitment is evident in features such as the ambidextrous fire selector offering Safe and Semi-Auto options, along with bolt catch levers and magazine buttons accessible from both the left and right sides.

Integrated Mosfet

The EC203 airsoft replica requires proper mechanics, so Taiwangun and East Crane decided to use high-quality parts.

Inside, you will find a dedicated long-type V2 gearbox with a quick spring change system, all compatible with TM standards. The gearbox features steel gears mounted on 8mm ball bearings. Compression is provided by a long type 0 cylinder, and the piston features metal teeth for increased durability.

The protection of wires and various programming modes is ensured by the Eshooter ETU Basic system. Taiwangun and Eshooter have made sure that the EC203 model faithfully replicates the original. As a result, the rifle is set by default to single fire in SEMI mode. However, for more demanding players, there is an additional option to switch fire modes to (BURST, AUTO) in the AUTO position and (BINARY) in the SEMI position. The mosfet also regulates current intensity and allows:
  • Easy Programming: Only 3 steps to finished your wanted setting, reset all functions with 8 seconds trigger hold.
  • Pre-cocking Adjustment: Different 5 pre-cocking levels to programming. The KESTREL Basic have learning function which can automatically determine the position of pre-cocking stop based on different speeds and loads. It is normal for a single shot to fire a few more rounds after replug or unplug the battery.
  • Support Brushless Motor: Support brushless and high-speed/high-torque motors.
  • Long Lasting Shooting: Perfectly working even over 50k shots.
  • Active Braking: Adaptive function to avoid gear instability, ensure piston stops in front position, increase gearbox and inside parts' service life.
  • Locked Rotor Protection: Active protection when gear and motor work out of order prevents gearbox damage.
  • Low Battery Protection: When the battery is low, motor vibrates 5 times and blue light flashes 5 times at the same time.
  • Low / High Voltage Protection: It can self-judge the number of lithium battery cells. 2-cell battery supports a minimum of 6V, and 3-cell battery supports a minimum of 8.5V. Maximum support 17V.
The precision is ensured by a 6.04mm diameter barrel and reinforced rotary hop-up chamber made of polymer. For ease of hop-up system adjustment, the rifle is equipped with a functioning bolt catch.
