Piston head POWER HYBRID rev. 3 [GATE]

POWER HYBRID piston head by GATE is a tuning component of the pneumatic system designed for standard and high-performance AEG configurations. The model uses CNC-machined 7075 aluminum, 10 ventilation holes in version 3 and a set of shims for weight and AOE adjustment, supporting air seal, repeatable piston operation and configuration for heavier BBs. The construction does not require AEG modification and is designed especially for professionals and skilled users.

Construction and finish

The POWER HYBRID piston head is made from 7075 aluminum using precise CNC machining. This construction supports repeatable component dimensions and proper fit with the cylinder and cylinder head.

The construction uses 10 ventilation holes that improve airflow during pneumatic system operation. In version 3, the shape of the holes has been changed to a smoother profile, reducing wear on the cylinder head bumpers.

The hole layout helps press the o-ring against the cylinder walls, supporting air seal and stable compression. The piston head itself weighs 4.7 g without the bearing and shims.

AOE adjustment and system operation

The set includes an AOE spacer that allows the angle of engagement between the piston and sector gear to be adjusted. AOE adjustment supports proper drivetrain operation and may reduce unfavorable loads acting on the piston during the gearbox cycle.

The included weight shims allow the mass of the piston head assembly to be increased. This configuration may be useful in DMR replicas and setups prepared for heavier BBs.

Compatibility

The POWER HYBRID piston head is compatible with standard AEG cylinders, standard AEG cylinder heads and standard AEG pistons. The model works with 19x2.4 mm o-rings.

The manufacturer states there are no spring power limitations, so the part can be used in both standard and high-performance AEG configurations.
