AT-K9T-FE Carbine with optical mosfet [Arcturus]

Another replica from the well-known manufacturer Arcturus presents us with line of FE replicas, which are a novelty in 2024 and will fascinate both Russophiles and enthusiasts of equipment from beyond the eastern border. The manufacturer presented a version of the Russian submachine gun PP-19 Vityaz, used by special forces and internal security units of the Russian Federation, some time ago. However, keeping up with the times, Arcturus Tactical presents here a version with modernized accessories that is AT-K9T-CB.

Construction

AT-K9T-CB Vityaz has been equipped with a mock Russian sound suppressor muzzle type "DTK Saiga", which allows for mounting a long barrel. The polymer lower stock has been replaced by a lightweight aluminum 11.5-inch lower stock adapted to work with rails in Picatinny 22mm standard, the gas tube cover has been replaced by an extended aluminum version, equipped with two picatinny rails for mounting flashlight or laser sight. A tactical Russian mount has also been added to the lower stock, allowing for the installation of a micro red dot sight. To facilitate reloading or adjusting the hop-up system, an extension handle attachment has been added.

The traditional fixed stock has been replaced by a second-generation folding Russian stock that has a wide range of buttstock and cheek rest adjustments. The pistol grip has also been modified to a more ergonomically shaped version, allowing for a secure grip of the submachine gun during firing.

Solid Construction

Main components such as the chamber, bolt cover, bolt cover latch, fire selector lever, trigger, trigger guard, magazine release, charging handle, stock latch, gas tube, gas block, front sight base, rear sight, and muzzle device, just like in firearms, are made of steel. Smaller parts including the barrel, have been made of aluminum and lightweight alloys. Everything is well-fitted and corrosion resistant. The pistol grip, magazine are made of reinforced polymer.

Gearbox

The FE mechanism is a new reinforced gearbox compatible with Marui system parts and GATE and PERUN ETUs. It features a quick spring change system (without the need to remove and open the gearbox) and the spring guide as well as the piston head are ball bearing supported. The polymer piston has a full steel rack. Steel 18:1 Short Stroke Sector Gear CNC gears are mounted on 8mm ball bearings to easily transfer all the power from the motor to the piston gear, which is mounted on a sliding bearing to withstand the highest loads. Additionally, with features such as: alternate fire mode, active brake, precocking, ROF adjustment, trigger sensitivity adjustment, progressive trigger significantly facilitating fault location. The mechanism is topped off with a sealed nozzle made of CNC technopolymer, in which a precision 6.03mm PCP class inner barrel is mounted, and a mechanical trigger pull adjustment. The latest addition is a neodymium 23TPA High Torque motor with high efficiency.
