Airsoft gun and cartridges.

Everything came as expected.

Completely unusable spring is too soft and made from some copper or brass alloy and it gives 0 tension causing the shells to sit very loosely making it impossible to load them in the gun
If you are thinking of buying them skip them and buy some cheap Yugoslavian Mauser stripper clips they are cheaper and should work as advertised

the spring material is too soft and because there is no tension the shells dont sit right and wobble a lot which makes it impossible to use
if anyone is thinking of buying them i suggest buying the real life mauser stripper clips they work better and you can also get them at a better price

Das Gewehr ist perfekt verarbeitet und auch der Holz-Imitat Schaft aus Plastik ist sehr autentisch. Ohne gleich von aussen alles mit Silikon Spray und den Schlitten satt mit Silokon Öl ein zu schmieren ist das Gewehr unbrauchbar. Vieles am Schlitten kackelt und klemmt. Permanent hat man Ladehemmungen, da beim Auswurf der Schlitten meistens blockiert.
Nach vielen Schüssen ist der Schlitten dann eingearbeitet, wenn er nicht schon bis dahin zu Bruch gegangen ist. Danach funktionniert deas Gewehr eigentlich ganz gut.
Der Abzug ist auch im Neuzustand viel zu hart, weit über 3 kg. Man sollte mehrmals kräftig Silikon Öl von oben wie unten in das System geben, bis es das Innere des Abzuges erreicht hat. Dann ist es gut mit um die 1,5 kg Abzugsgewicht.
Dieses Gewehr ist für die Wand und für die Demo. Man kann draussen nichts damit anfangen, da die Hülsen wie im Krieg durch die Gegend fliegen und aufgesammelt und vom Dreck befreit werden müssen.
Schade, dass man nirgendwo dieses Model mit Echtholzschaft mehr bekommen kann. Das wäre zu zumindest für die Wand interessant. Auch ist es schlecht, dass man fast nirgendwo mehr Ersatzhülsen bekommt, denn die verschleissen und gehen verloren.
Fazit.
Super Ausstellungsteil. Autentische Funktion, wie die echte Waffe aber zum spielen nicht zu gebrauchen. Der Preis ist jedoch absolut in Ordnung.

I did hesitate a lot before buying this item because of the comments.. I do have a real ammo and a real clip for the real Kar98 and spring strength and how it holds the bullets is almost the same.. the quality of the build is pretty good.. great item to buy I highly recommend it.. it's fits the Kar98 double bell really well and it works as intended with no issues.. thank you Taiwan gun team, looking forward for the next purchase...

An interesting replica to be short:
double bell has dug up the old dboys kar98 from the grave. virtually identical to it's previous incarnation it comes in two version ( actually three if you count the gas operated one) a plastic stock and a wooden stock version.
i purchased the plastic stock one and i must say, the quality and finish of the stock is actually quite good. it replicates wood quite well.

mechanically speaking it works essentially the same as a real mauser kar 98 rifle:
in the box you get ,alongside the replica itself, 5 aluminium shells where you would put one bb per shell and then feed those either by hand or with the use of a stripper clip (which double bell does actually make but real mauser clips for 8mm works just as well if not better) in the internal magazine, close the bolt and squeeze the trigger and it fires.

One last thing, i've heard complaints of the bolt assembly breaking after months of use; i can't really confirm this at the moment as i've got this for less than two weeks do keep in mind that this replica requires care just like a real gun so make sure to properly lubricate the bolt every once in a while so that it meets the least amount of resistance when using it.

the only con i can find is that double bell could at least have included a stripper clip in the box as well but oh well

I’ve always wanted this as a wallhanger, plinker and now i got it. :)

Comes in a simple box, with the 5 shells, and the disassembled bolt. As recommended, i cleaned out the whole mechanism and re-lubed it with silicon oil. The bolt is easy to install, no issues. Now it has a smooth action, very satisfying to load and shoot. No metal shavings, no issues at all. The only problem i had is the bbs come out easily from the loaded shells when it’s in the chamber/gun. Be careful, if the bbs pop out from it’s place, it can end up under the “magazine” spring and plate where you load the gun. Great material, great looking fake wood plastic body. There is a little wobble inside the gun, which is one of the barrels. As i read somewhere, this gun has 3 barrel parts, and only the first one is moving/wiggling.

If you want a great skirmisher WW2 replica this isn’t for you, get an S&T or Snow Wolf. If you want to have fun, shoot some targets or you want a great ww2 wallhanger with a realistic mechanism, this is for you!!

One little thing to add: the warranty covers everything about the mechanism, so don’t be afraid to purchase this fantastic collectors piece!

Great fidget toy, nothing else. DO NOT USE THIS REPLICA INDOORS IF YOU DON'T WANT ALUMINIUM SHAVINGS EVERYWHERE. Because the extractor and ejector are way harder metal than the aluminium shells it damages the rim and ejection quickly becomes unreliable. Also the shells get stripped by the feed lips, and they can slam into the flat breech face and damage themselves. The stripper clips sink into the replica 99% of the time, all that only after a "month" of use. The trigger pin is not looking good and will definitely break after some time. The bolt is also sticky after some time akin to a Mosin Nagant... But its satisfying so 3/5

Good quality shells, no complains. Maybe a bit expensive, but definitely worth it.
If you live for airsoft and use shell ejecting kar98 for airsoft gameplays, you must have some spare shells, those are great addition to your gear.

I am satisfied with the gun and also with delivery.
The gun has its good and bad points.
Good points:
- price
- realistic wood imitation
- accurate
- strong
- it is just cool, you cant argue about that.

Bad points:
- not good for airsoft gameplays except if you are rich and not afraid to lose shells
- some wobbly parts, but they are easily fixable

Tips:
- be gentle when loading, parts are quite sensitive
- lubricate it regularly

Overall happy with what i have gotten.

Pretty much the only choice of shells for this gun. I got some snowwolf ones from hong kong but they get stuck sometimes. These are a little more slick and fit fine in some real steel mauser stripper clips I got from amazon.

The wood-effect ABS test looks very good, and the metal parts are also made of very high-quality material.
The kar98k replica looks very real and is a very accurate copy of the original.
Price value in gold is a very good purchase.
I really like the fact that the sleeve pops out after being cocked, which also reflects the exact replica of the gun, although you have to carry a lot of sleeves with you to play.
Simple aiming is the basic iron sight, but if someone wants to put a telescope on it, it is also very easy and all parts for it can be obtained very easily from taiwangun.

This is incredible fun rifle fore plinking home just reloading it is more fun then any other gun I have and the price is crazy good. Only thing that cold have been improved is the quality of the shells. And Taiwanguns in general has unbeatable price so can recommend there products.

Hefty, made for what they need to do and they do it well. Just be careful, because marring up the shells can make them misfeed into the replica, or otherwise not eject properly. Apart from the slight fragility, they are perfect.

Skip it, the clips do not fit the the gun and even some of them are too loose that bullets might fall off from them.

I used hammer and other tools to tighten it a little bit so the shells at least won't fall but still it is not worth the price.

I have to add one more thing; it doesn't fit on the gun and it is impossible to push the shells into the gun! The shells move in every direction and can easily fall off the clip. I am very disappointed by this clip, it's a waste of money! I bought the Double Bell Kar98 but this clip doesn't fit on it....

The inner metal piece is very loose and moves back and forth all the time. The shells don't fit weel, they can easily fall off the stripper (this happened twice while I was trying to load it). I don't know if the other strippers are the same but mine is not what I expected.

Une réplique fidèle du fameux Kar98K, avec un réel soucis du détail.
C'est une réplique fort agréable, que ce soit à l'utilisation comme au niveau esthétique.
Le corps en ABS imitation bois rend très bien et donne tout de même une réelle impression de solidité. Impression qui est renforcée par la construction full métal des autres pièces.

Le mécanisme d'éjection des douilles marche très bien et est clairement le réel point fort de cette réplique ! la culasse est elle aussi full métal donc elle est sans doute robuste (à voir dans le temps). On constate tout de même un petit jeu au niveau de cette culasse une fois que celle ci est tirée vers l'arrière.

Une bonne précision, mais un manque de puissance à mon goût. En effet je trouve ca dommage d'avoir une réplique à seulement 1 Joule, cela vient casser un peu le côté "Haute Gamme" que peu procurer le produit (haut de gamme pour le prix du moins)

Organes de visée simple et efficace (reproduction fidèle), cran de mire réglable, 2 attaches sangles, et un système de sécurité placé à l'arrière de la culasse.

En conclusion:

It's an amazing replica, I am already converting her for sniper games, I really love the shell ejection, the reloading is a little hard because there is some sort of a obstacle when you reload sometimes but it can still shoot, I really love it and I will definitely use it in game!

This kar98k replica feels great and shoots great. For such a low price it surely is a deal. The replica looks and functions awesome. It can be used as a prop or in airsoft battles. It has good fps and is reliable! I recommend it to anyone who is a bolt action rifle fan!

Solid, sturdy clips.
The shells fit nicely and it drastically decreases the time needed to reload.

Clips can be inserted into the gun using the dedicated slot for the clips. I would advise to press down near the back of the shells, it will make it a lot easier.

The shells themselves sit a bit loose in the clip, but since this not a gun to take to a skrim, it should be not a problem.

Note: these clips cannot be used when the scope is mounted! The scope sits 1 cm too far back to be able to use the shells.
If the scope is mounted, load shells individually.

They are great but the bb gets stuck in one of them sometimes. Other than that, they are perfect, they fit in the gun just right and I haven’t had the gun jam at all. So yeah I’d say 9/10, would totally reccomend

Very cool addition to the shells and double bell kar98k. Loading the stripper/clip is very easy and satisfying.

After the stripper/clip is loaded, you can open the bolt of your double bell kar98k. There is a small slide where you can slide in the clip itself, This can be a hassle at first, but I recommend oiling this up.

After the stripper/clip with shells is in place, you can push down the shells. This as well requires getting used to, put your finger to the middle/backside of the upper shell, and push down until all shells are in the magazine. after that you can remove the stripper/clip and push the bolt forward.

Shells feel amazing to the touch. They are machined very precisely.

When entering the double bell kar98k they make a nice whizzz noise, very cool.

Really good weapon. Easy to use just like the original one. Excellent replica. Firing and reloading are accurate and smooth. In the field its a little bit tricky because you have to search for the empty cartriges all the time. But the fun of having thus gun in battle balances this situation. Worth of money!

They fit well and they work properly although the spring is a little weak. You can't hold them vertical and shake it cause then the shells will fall out although to an extend this happens with real clips too. 4/5 because they could be a little cheaper as the chance of loosing them during a skirm is way bigger compared to mags and you do need quite a few.

It's a very high quality, true looking riffle, the wood looks very real even though it is made out of plastic.

They look nice but it looks like there is to much play in the clip.
These may work on the standard replica but won't work on my replica due to the fact that I replaced the stock with a original stock for the k98.
Still and all i will still use them to store my shells for safekeeping.
There for they may still work for someone else

I am very satisfied with the product. The weight of the rifle feels realistic, so do the ejecting shells and the insterting of the shells in the rifle. The looks and feel of the wood-like plastic is also over my estimations. Very easy to imagine you are holding a real wooden rifle. Im also satisfied with the metal materials as well.

Only the bolt action and the locking mechanism feels a little bit loose and mellowing, (not a full metal on metal feel). But in the same time the pulling back of the bolt (for ejecting the shell) is a real good feeling. While its already pulled back (and can move free), and the pushing back is what you can feels a bit mellowing.

Overall its a very good rifle for the price especially for a decoration in your wall. And if you would like, you can grab it, load with some shells (what is a real plesure), and you feels like you are a real WW2 german soldier. :)

These shells work perfectly and didn't come with any problems. No complaints. You can't really mess up shells so order these confidently knowing that they'll do what they are made for. After a bit of use they'll look all banged up but don't worry they'll still work great.

So this is the plastic stock version but it's still heavy. Because of the quality plastic and paint you can't even tell that it's plastic. The bolt itself can sometimes not close easily but that can be avoided by just using more force to close it shut. The ejecting shells are a really cool feature although it wouldn't be that good in games since you gotta pick them up. Sometimes when running the action to eject the second to last shell, the last shell also gets thrown out but this can be avoided by calmly opening the bolt. The cleaning rod isn't the full lenght only the little bit you see can be unscrewed. Overall it's a really cool gun because of the ejecting shells and a fair price for the quality, but i can't see it being good for actual games unless you camp

Nice abs solidly built, the charging angle can wobble a bit, but works well otherwise. The ejecting shell is nice, would have been nicer in brass colour instead of silver. Waiting for the wood version to be back in stock as I’d like one of those as well. Would have been nice to have a sling included.

i disadvantage i found is that the box of the replica is not the best but this is not the sellers fault.
when you buy this replica ask the seller if they wan't to take the bolt out because otherwise it could get damaged in transport
